Spire 73 has incredible views of DTLA, watching the sunset from up here is breathtaking. I highly recommend making a reservation in advance if you want a table, otherwise, there’s a bar area and two couches available on a first come, first served basis. The place can get crowded, but the vibe is great, the drinks are solid, and the bartenders are really friendly.

A cool fact I learned, it’s the tallest open air rooftop bar in the Western Hemisphere. They play music, but I do wish they had a DJ to give it more of a party vibe, though I think they prefer to keep things more chill.

Went here on a Saturday evening. Fortunately was able to find parking on Francisco Street where the hotel is located. Otherwise, you’ll have to park at the hotel, but not sure of pricing there.

You enter on the Figueroa entrance and take 2 elevators up. The first one takes you to the 70th, and you get a small preview of the views you’ll experience, so the excitement gets enhanced. The second elevator is glass, so you’ll see the western portion of L.A., and it’s stunning. When you get off you have a hostess take you to your table and that’s where you experience the full views of L.A. Insanely stunning! Got seats by the views. The atmosphere is very mellow and chic. There’s no dress code as I saw people with shorts and wearing sports shirts. I went here for the cocktails, and they were okay. The old fashioned didn’t have a balance of bourbon, orange and bitters. Plus the drink was half-filled. The mezcal drink was pretty good.

Overall, definitely an experience to see a 360⁰ of L.A. Perfect date-night setting. Highly recommend coming here.

72th floor outdoor rooftop, absolutely stunning views and good food. Rather expensive but worth the view. They give blankets on colder days. Friendly staff. Music is energetic and rather loud. The whole place is great

Most gorgeous view!!!
Our server was so sweet and professional.
She even brought us blankets.

Food was not good, but chicken wings were good. Drink was pretty decent.
It takes while to get seated but once they seat you, you can enjoy beautiful view.
Sunset view was stunning!

Drinks are way overpriced priced. We ordered happy hour drinks which were just OK. The food was bland. We ordered the bacon chicken wings which tasted like hotdogs. The fries were ok. The salmon had very little taste. My wife’s chicken was delicious. The table s’more was fun. Honestly, nothing memorable about the food. A great charcuterie board would be awesome. The service and view is amazing.

The views are stunning. The sunset even better. If you just want some photo ops, come here. They have no alcohol spirits as well. The workers are super friendly. Van behind the bar is kind and considerate.

InterContinental team! I’d like to give a huge shout-out to one of our staff members. I was too busy to ask for her name, but she’s a black-haired woman with bangs who speaks Korean and English fluently. Her service was fantastic! Thanks to her, I had a wonderful cocktail hour with my family! Thank you.

Our Uber driver recommended this bar, the tallest open-air bar in the Western Hemisphere on the 73rd floor. So we went and really enjoyed ourselves. The cocktails and beer were fantastic, the food tasty and delicious, the service attentive.
The only disappointment was that the views were thru glass.

Great for view and atmosphere, but food and drinks are subpar and expensive. Go for a beer, get the view, then get out. The food is truly bad. The drinks are incredibly weak for the price.
