I love this drive in. I was born in FDL and we come here every time we return home. The ONLY A&W that served soft serveRoot beer cones! We travel around a lot and have never seen it anywhere else . The fish was unde rcooked and the shrimp was over cooked, the root beer had a very bitter after taste to it. And will also be watching my card transactions since the server walked off with the card at one point, and was never offered a receipt, had to press the order button to request a receipt.

Got old bay fries, with the seasoning only on 3 or 4 fries, and a coney chilli cheese dog that had NO CHEESE, got food from this location alot, and i always get a coney chilli cheese dog, and this was the only time ive had it come without cheese, extremely disappointed and i hope someone in charge looks at this review

I decided to try this place because it was the closest location near me, and with such high reviews (4.6 rating), I had pretty high expectations. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite.
I arrived around 9:50 p.m. (online hours listed closing as 10:30 p.m.) and placed my order for a bacon burger with no onions—repeated that twice since it was a bit difficult to hear. Shortly after, a young lady brought my order out while the lights suddenly started going out. I made a comment about it, and she replied, “Yeah, a lot of people want to come here when it’s closing time.” At this point, I was confused since I believed closing was 10:30, not 10.
When it came time to pay, she told me the total was $14.08. I handed her $20.10 and said I wanted my change back. Instead of the correct change, she gave me only $4, then ran off with a friend to a car and left. Dumbfounded, I went to the window to explain the situation, only to be met by an older gentleman with white hair who loudly said they were closed. When I told him what happened, he tossed $2.02 at me, slammed the window, and locked it.
The entire experience was unprofessional, rude, and left me completely shocked. If the owner or manager happens to read this, I truly hope you address how your staff is treating paying customers. With how this visit went, I cannot understand how this place holds a 4.6-star rating. Oh and I still had onions on my burger

No inside seating do to covid19. Ordered double cheese with mayo, ketchup, onions, pickles. Burgers were good but not always the greatest, they use a drawer warmer system. Sorry no photos since ate in car.

I was really looking forward to chili cheese fries. They were terrible. The fries weren’t cooked enough and they were like raw potatoes. What a disappointment . Especially for A&W. I expect really good food there. Not today!

Normally order a double cheeseburger anywhere i got but i get one from here and the bun is soaked in grease over half the time, next time i decide to order I’ll even post pictures. Unfortunately made it the new normal to go too the Oshkosh restaurant instead even tho i live in Fondy because they clearly do a better job when it comes to making their food.
Writing an edit afterward of the manager or whoever replied your issue is not fixed and I encourage anyone reading this dont bother with fond du lac A&w this is an on going issue and is not being resolved and if you are craving A&w just drive to Oshkosh their quality in food is far better than the fond du lac location. I will no longer be ordeing from this location and I recommend everyone else to do the same.
