Jennifer and the whole crew at the Denny’s in Oneonta, NY are the real deal. Every time I come in, they’re welcoming, patient, and on point. Jennifer especially makes sure you’re taken care of and keeps the energy positive even when it’s busy. Food comes out hot, service is fast, and the place feels comfortable. Big shoutout to Jennifer and the team — y’all make people want to come back.

The best T-bone steak and eggs I’ve eaten in a long time. Friendly service and the steak was super tender even though it was cooked medium well with outstanding seasoning and flavor. My wife had the Classic Benny Breakfast which was delicious as well. Had a refill on the coffee which was nice.

In the past this was great place to go eat too.In the past ive asked for mango syrup in my sprite and every server would just make it for me since im not a fan of the mango lemonade tonight the server told me they couldnt do it because management would not allow it. Same managment that gave us an attitude when we walked in because there was six of us. They have become very unprofessional long waits for food to just get cold food. I just got up and left today a simple request for mango syrup in my sprite and them catching and attitude about it caused them to loose a customer. Most servers do anything to make the customer happy since that helps them get a good tip but the gentleman tonight seemed to not want to serve us at all everything was a problem.

We arrived at 4:48pm order by 5pm my daughter got the wrong drink after I asked if they had sweet tea they brought unsweetened, then we ordered she wanted chicken Alfredo so everyone’s order went about after 32 mins the waiter comes out and tells us they don’t have Alfredo noodles so she switched to a cheese burger, after an hr of waiting for food she bites into the burger and there is a huge hair in there. My nachos had almost no hamburger in it the manager Chuck never came over to make it right very slow service the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Horrible place. My husband said his food was good but the potatoes were old and the dinner bread was cold. Wouldn’t recommend!!

Food was okay and service was basic. My potatoes were sent back, needed to be cooked more. My chicken wings over cooked.
It was slow and yet the person waited on us didn’t come back to us until our food was gone, and we asked for the check.
We went again and the service was worse. we haven’t been back since then.

Stopped for a sort-of quick lunch during my travels. There was a gap of time between being seated and receiving service, which appeared to be a slow time of day.
Beyond that, when I met my waitress until the time I was finished, she was beyond excellent!
I ordered a Bourbon sizzling chicken & veggies skillet, and it was super delicious! I’m so happy I came across this particular Denny’s Restaurant.

Place was fairly empty yet there was a 10-15 minute wait. Then food took longer “because the kitchen got a little backed up.” Just another place short staffing their establishment to save money.

The service at the Denny’s in Oneonta was absolutely fantastic — Debbie was so friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in.
The food was excellent, with plenty of breakfast menu options, and everything came out quickly and hot.
The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and family-friendly, making it the perfect stop for travelers, baseball families, and anyone passing through on their way to Cooperstown.
