Service wasn’t great, but again one staff member started our order, but then left before we finished ordering. I believe something personal came up. The first few things I ordered were said to be out-of-stock or discontinued, but weren’t portrayed as such on the menu at the counter.
This brings us to the food, it was bland. Nothing bad, just not great either. I’ve had Popeyes many times and love their food.
I would definitely attempt another go before avoiding this Popeyes indefinitely.
When our food was done the man at the counter told us that they have no mac and cheese and asked if we would like a different side instead. This wouldnt be a big deal if I hadn’t ordered the combo specifically for the mac and cheese. They also told us that they had no tartar sauce for the popcorn shrimp. I get tartar sauce with my popcorn shrimp because I am a baby when it comes to spicy food and the popcorn shrimp is too spicy for me without tartar sauce. My husbands biscuit was a little burnt but he still ate it.
The restaurant was clean and comfortable to dine in.
Overall wasn’t a bad meal. I just wish they would’ve told us that they were out of certain items before allowing us to finish placing our order.
That evening, after consuming the food, I believe I was drugged and sexually assaulted at that location, either inside the restaurant or somewhere within the TA Travel Center. I fell asleep on a large lounge chair in the lobby area and later woke up to a black man telling me that multiple men had walked past me while I was sleeping and I didn’t wake up.
Later that day, based on how I felt physically and what I experienced, I came to believe that something more than people simply walking by had occurred. I also recall overhearing Chevron mention something that made me feel she had knowledge of what happened.
I do not believe this situation was random. I am originally from California, not Wisconsin, and I feel that false information has been spread about me, leading to me being targeted. Based on my experience, I do not believe Chevron employee can be trusted to keep people’s food safe.
The staff’s ability to comprehend AND input an order…?
Not so much.
I don’t go very often, Maybe 3 times a year, but two orders in one week have both been screwed.
One, I figure somebody had a bad day.
Two, and it appears somebody isn’t LISTENING to rhe customers.
Finally after another 5 minutes I went up to the counter to state that this is taking way to long.
Needless to say? The food was done, and the guy said he called my name? I was sitting in a chair at the “bar table” about 6 feet from the counter.
If they had called my name I would have heard it.
Food was still good, but I won’t be coming to this location anymore. That was just really rude.
