It’s just not good. Very disappointing right from the get, the “salsa” is tomato sauce with some lime juice maybe, no onion no cilantro. It’d be better on pasta probably lol Food was very disappointing. My crunchy taco came slathered in melted cheese so not crunchy at all and had to eat with a fork. I got a chicken enchilada as well and meh. Neither had any flavor that I enjoyed, I didn’t finish any of it. It’s very American “Mexican food”. They use Monterey Jack and Colby cheeses, the rice and beans also tasted blah and got toasted in the oven so it was crunchy on top. Not a big fan of crunchy rice or crunchy refried beans. The margarita is why we came because I had the orange cream one years ago and remembered how good it was. Frozen margs are premixed and fairly weak it seems, not as good as I remembered. I would choose somewhere else if you like onions, cilantro and good flavored Mexican food.

Came in at around 11am on 12/12/25. Food and service great. On the way out the host told me Merry Christmas I said you too and as I’m going out the door I hear him say don’t come back. I’m not sure what happened I was only coming in for a carry out was in and out in less than 5 min. All good, I’m sure your windows rattled on my way out. I can be rude too.

The workers seemed lovely, but the food is horrible! Not just in a “tastes weird” kind of way.
And it’s not just the chefs. It’s the way the kitchen is conducted, the health dept. needs to do an investigation.
My bf’s grandmother got food poisoning here years ago, she warned me before I went. I figured maybe things were better but to steer clear of any questionable items. I got a quesadilla and STILL got food poisoning. I’m currently typing this between episodes of nausea.
Don’t go here, and if you do, be prepared…

I walked across from the truck stop to have dinner. I got the fish tacos and a cup of white chicken chili but I also got a bowl of it to go because it was so good. The food was great. The bartender seemed really friendly at first. I also had a shot of casamigos and two margaritas part of the way through my second Margarita. I asked the bartender about dips to go with the chips. I was intending on sitting there and snacking while taking my time with the second Margarita. She didn’t ask me if I wanted it to go. She just immediately packed it up to go with my bowl of chicken chili to go. I wasn’t sure if it was a miscommunication or if she was trying to let me know I needed to leave which is ridiculous after only having a couple drinks and me sitting there by myself minding my business. I would come back again for the food but I was very disappointed and felt super rushed towards the end of my visit here today.

The server was nice but service was VERY slow even though the restaurant was pretty empty. My friend ordered a margarita on the rocks and found a gnat in the glass. The server brought another and said that they had comped that. After receiving the bill, they had charged my friend for the new drink that had less tequila. We won’t be back.

The refried beans were dried out and had a hard crust on the top when our food came out. So did the queso and the kids mac n cheese. My husband’s tacos were also cold to the touch and the beans on the taco were dried out and crusty too. The waitress was nice. The atmosphere was quiet and the bathrooms were clean.

2 stars. Food sucked. Truck driving I’ve tried many restaurants across America. This is considered a Taco Bell sit down restaurant. HOWEVER. If you do come here ask for Berkeley. BEST SERVER EVER!
Margaritas are 20$ come in the smallest glass ever AVOID. Salsa tastes like ketchup. Jalepeno poppers were good though. Burrito sauce tasted like stuffing from thanksgiving

Stopped for lunch and was impressed! Ordered the wet burrito and it was really good. Chips were thin, fresh and crispy. Service was excellent! The bathroom was very clean and well kept. Only thing that could be better was the salsa with the chips. Pureed too fine, it was more like tomato sauce than salsa. Very good Mexican restaurant.

Food was mediocre the salsa really does taste like spicy ketchup. Service was terrible yet there being tons of staff and a handful of customers. The ambiance can be described as third rate bowling alley meets mexican restaurant.
