Welcome to Momonoki! We’re a counter service restaurant focusing on casual Japanese comfort fare. From the partners who established Brush Sushi Izakaya in downtown Decatur,GA. Momonoki will serve chef driven Ramen, Tsukemen (dipping ramen) Donburi (raw/cooked rice bowls), Katsu Sando (Japanese cutlet sandwiches), salads and small plates. A full bar stocked with cocktails, sake, wine and local/Japanese brews in cans/bottles and on tap will round out the menu. “Momonoki” translates to “Peachtree” in Japanese, which of course, is a nod to our beloved city. Our logo, which is a peach with the kanji character “wood” written within, somewhat represents the “285 perimeter” with 75/85 down the middle and I-20 going across!

Ramen, poke bowls & other Japanese eats offered in an airy, contemporary space with counter seating.

I absolutely love the atmosphere at Momonoki! This place has quickly become one of my go-to spots, and I’ve returned several times because it consistently delivers on both food and ambiance.

The brown sugar latte was delicious, and I highly recommend trying their sesame latte – it has this amazing balance of savory and sweet that keeps you coming back for more. Their drink menu offers unique flavors you won’t easily find at other coffee shops.

Good Lord, the desserts here are incredible! I tried what I believe was a crème brûlée croissant, and it was absolutely satisfying. If you have a sweet tooth, their dessert selection is lovely with such unique varieties that are hard to find elsewhere.
But Momonoki isn’t just about coffee and sweets – they also serve substantial meals. Their lunch menu includes options like teriyaki and ramen, offering very filling and satisfying dishes. It’s rare to find a coffee shop that successfully pulls off this dual concept of café and restaurant.

The layout is fantastic with two floors, giving you plenty of options for where to sit and study. They also have a beautiful covered outdoor area, so whether you prefer inside, outside, or upstairs, there’s a perfect spot for you. How many coffee shops can offer that kind of variety?
The space is filled with natural lighting and offers a variety of seating options. I particularly love being able to study outside in beautiful weather while still having the comfort of being covered. The wheelchair accessibility is also a great feature that makes this space welcoming to everyone.

Parking was easy – plenty of options both on the street and in nearby garages. This might have been because of the time we visited (it’s located in a college area), but it was convenient nonetheless.

Overall, this is an ideal spot for college students, professionals meeting with colleagues, or friends looking to enjoy great food in a wonderful atmosphere. The professional setup and variety of spaces make it work for studying, casual meetings, or just relaxing. Momonoki truly goes for the “double kill” – excellent coffee shop vibes combined with quality restaurant offerings. The unique drink and dessert selection, substantial food options, flexible seating arrangements, and welcoming atmosphere make this a standout spot in Atlanta. I keep coming back, and I’m sure you will too!

Ramen and Katsu with Chicken

This was very delicious. I’m from out of town and just walked here from my Hotel. Downtown been gridlock since 3pm but I suppose that’s Atlanta haha

I felt like I was underdressed in a hoodie and jeans haha. It’s a very nice atmosphere and good vibes. I paid about $29 and I got an iced tea not pictured. Worth every penny. They asked if I wanted my parking comp, but I walked so that might be a little perk idk. I’m not in ATL a bunch.

Open air like area, very spacey, an overall fun vibe like a good take on a coffee house meets ramen bar.
Awesome ramen, awesome atmosphere and fun people. The Chicken YUZU RAMEN Y’ALL a must try! Pics of my second bowl and all my fixings mixed in y’all it’s so good.
However, drinks were trash got a strawberry cloud late and it was bitter with little to no sweetness. No problem, but I then let my hubs order a strawberry cream soda… No no nope! The puree was separated from the drink itself and there was no sweetness just seltzer! Yuck so when I tasted it it was chunks of strawberry, separated cream, and Seltzer water. Never again ordering drinks here but food definitely yes, plus our server chick was bomb! So sweet and attentive shine sista shine!

My husband wanted to come to the cafe for breakfast on his birthday this morning. We got two drinks, two breakfast croissants, and a matcha croissant. Everything was delicious! The staff were so friendly, too! We loved it so much and we’re so glad we came all the way from Nashville, TN to visit!

Great spot to sit and work or hang out with friends while enjoying a quick bite. I ordered one of the salads + sandwiches, and everything was easy to navigate through QR codes/online website, although the portion sizes were smaller than I was expecting. The atmosphere is modern and inviting, with lots of seating and natural light.

Stopped by Momo Cafe inside Momonoki on my way to work. It had been a few years since my last visit, but I was blown away by the creative latte and pastry options available.

I love fun iced lattes and the Apple Pie latte was no exception. And the crème brûlée croissant? Took me right back to some of the pastries I had in Osaka!

The coffee and treats may not be the cheapest in the area, but they are high quality. The crème brûlée croissant was almost big enough to share, filled with cream and topped with torched custard. Perfection.

I’m already trying to convince my husband to come back with me on Friday. There’s no way I’m waiting years again until my next visit!

I was craving for Asian food on my trip and decided to go here. We order with our table’s scan code. The staff were very receptive. There are 2 TVs on the bottom floor, so I was entertained. The Truffle Duck Shoyu with wavy noodle, miso marinated duck breast, chicken breast, bamboo shoot, Asian chives, ramen egg, broth, and truffle sauce tasted so delicious. I really loved how well they seasoned the duck. I would go here again.

few weeks ago, I went out with my friends for a gift exchange. I ordered a spicy ramen bowl, which I didn’t really like, but I still ate some of it. A few hours later, I started having stomach pains. Between eating the noodles and going to the movie theater, the only other thing I had was Chick-fil-A fries since I hadn’t eaten much of the ramen. About two hours later I got home, I began throwing up about three repeatedly. My stomach felt like it was doing backflips, honestly the strangest and most uncomfortable feeling I’ve ever experienced. I also had a headache and only managed to sleep for about four hours that night. I couldn’t keep anything down, not even tea or water, and I wasn’t feeling any better.
My mom said that if I was still throwing up and didn’t improve by the next morning, we would have to go to the ER. By the next morning, I felt a little better, though not completely. I took some medicine, went back to sleep, and slowly started to feel better as the day went on.

Such a fun place! Very hip and trendy with indoor and outdoor seating. Digital menu (scan on your phone via QR code). Paid street parking and also a paid parking garage.

The BEST croissants you’ve ever eaten. Fun drinks. Excellent Ramen. Great Sando! The service is wonderful. A lot of the dishes are made fresh to order so leave some extra time…it’s not super quick but definitely worth the wait! A little on the pricey side, but again, great quality food and worth it!
