Shout out to an incredible crew that is ensuring each customer is recognized with every visit. As an individual who struggles with paying $7 for a coffee, I’ve come to embrace the cost as a trade out for an ever so brief engagement with this crew. I often start what I know will be a challenging day with my Starbucks coffee. Since I often mobile order my coffee ahead of time, my interaction may be less than 30 seconds, but the personal engagement by the crew can lighten the mood of the morning before the craziness begins.
Love them bringing the messages back onto the cups and the fun they are having with them. I don’t recall ever being called princess before. For those who know me, don’t necessarily fit the princess profile. However – full disclosure – I laughed for three days afterwards about it. Even shared the photo of the cup with friends so they too could enjoy it.
Their energy is infectious and sends a positive vibe out to all who enter. Whoever is running this location has clearly dialed in on customer experience and understanding the importance it has on repeatability. $7 coffees or not, I’ll keep coming back.

I ordered the Oat Milk Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso and it was prepared wonderfully. It was exactly what I needed! The sandwich I ordered was lopsided, but it still tasted good. Overall, it was a great experience. The team was friendly, welcoming, and made the visit enjoyable.

My order was a white mocha iced coffee with almond milk to go. After Sipping my coffee, a couple times I began to realized there was no coffee in it. This is the first time I have ever been to a coffee shop ordered coffee and receive milk.
I also had another issue with my oatmeal to go at a different time. I ordered an oatmeal with everything and instead I receive plain oatmeal with nothing to put in it. It’s bad Starbucks.

Grabbed a cold drink. Just one of your pricy drinks. This location is quaint and small. No drive through. Small lounge seating area with over sized chairs. Main area has tables and regular chairs. Few rables and chairs at the store front. Off to the side is a patio seating area. Parking is a little tight. Several retailers close by and being the end unit.

Just so you know, there are three Starbucks within a stones throw near Barry Road and I-29 in North Kansas City and this one is kind of in the middle. I was actually in the nearby Target on Ambassador Drive when I ordered on the app and it showed that I was ordering for pickup at the Target Starbucks. Turns out they don’t do app orders so they sent me over to this location on Barry Road in a strip mall near a Sheridan’s Custard place. I went in to pick up my drink, only to find out that my drink was at the third location! What I want to tell you is that the lovely Starbucks employees here took care of me anyway. They instantly made my drink because by the time I would have picked up my order at the third location, the drink would’ve been ice cold.
So, shout out to ☀️Meg and Jacob☀️at THIS Starbucks location!! Your professionalism is not forgotten, and I will see you again soon!

I have been going to this location for years. This past year I noticed my drinks were being shorted little by little each time. One day, I decided to just ask why my drinks were being shorted, and if they could remake it for me since this time it was half way filled. The manager told me that if I wanted my drink filled I needed to pay more.
Decided to give them one more chance, I ordered a latte this AM and of course, my drink was filled half way again. When I spoke to the manager on why my drink was shorted again, after I even paid extra and she said that it’s not supposed to be shorted and she’s aware that they short drinks all the time.
This is completely ridiculous, especially paying $10 for a cup of coffee. Service and quality has gone down hill. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Caribou Coffee, Dutch Bros, or Fitti’s Espresso are some places I would recommend
Better service and you actually get a full cup of coffee with no extra charge

Well I want to share what the barista does when you ask for whip cream. You get a thin coat barely covering the top of the cup. I treasure my trips to Starbucks because I can afford to go there only once a month. I guess Ill have to find another place that gives whipped cream and does nothing to cut corners. 11 dollars for a drink half way done. Never again.
