Reviews
The fried wings were overcooked or out too long (old); therefore too hard and dry to eat. Spicy chicken wings looked amazing but were not. The temp was not hot.
The fried peppered shrimp had a good flavor but was not hot. I tried the fried, stuffed, and sautéed mushrooms. The fried needs a batter with flavor and will cling. The stuffed with cream cheese wasn’t a favorite.
The garlic green beans, chicken and brocolli and lo mein was great. The flavors were great and fresh tasting. The salmon also had a great flavor. It could’ve stop cooking earlier. The pinkish color was gone.
Apple pie and donut were OK. Plenty of dessert options, but because we didn’t enjoy the food, deserts were not what our palates desired.
In spite of the lack of quality of prepared food, the waitress was great. She continued to ask about our drinks. She kept the area cleaned and served multiple tables well.
There are numerous sign expressing an additional charge if food is wasted. The food looks better than it tastes, therefore one could unliked food. Nevertheless, we didn’t experience that charge but the post are clear.
Clean restroom.
2 of us dined for $45. It was not worth the price. The cost included taxes and gratuity. For 2 people ? Gratuity? OK maybe that assures your workers get paid.
There is so much more, I could sau, but will stop here. We do not desire to return.
The food is superb! The woman knows us, when our order changes in any way she makes sure she asks if we needed anything else. They always get it right. 100% of the time. It’s fast, hot, extremely affordable and really delicious! The only improvement would be to be open on Tuesdays, but every restaurant deserves at least one day off!! Wangs is my NC families “Lucky Dragon”.
Getting pricey, tips are automatically charged whether you get good or bad service. But they do keep hot fresh food on the line!
They charge extra if you leave too much food on your plate. Don’t know who decides that but signs are posted on the walls.
Unfortunately the sushi section is very lacking but that’s expected for a Chinese buffet.
Just this week we were there for lunch, and a lady and child came in, and the service lady told the customer that she would be charged the dinner price, for the “lunch” meal. Like what kind of business is that?? She was informed that they only had 30 minutes to eat for the lunch price. If they couldn’t finish their meal in 30 minutes.
Wang’s do better!!
