Yummy caramel apple waffle (for me) and Greek benedict for friend. A nice plus is that they have turkey sausage (Yay me – I don’t eat pork). Maybe a bit pricey on some things. But the service was very good!

I ordered the Celtic Benedict twice this week. Both times the eggs were extremely overcooked, almost like hard boiled eggs as you can see in the photo I provided. Very disappointing since I look forward to a yolky egg which is expected as the norm with any eggs benedict.
The second time I ordered the Celtic benedict, I asked for the hash browns and corned beef hash to be cooked well-done and crispy (they are very mushy otherwise), also requested sausage gravy to be poured over my benedict instead of hollandaise sauce.
I was pleased to find that the hashbrowns and corn beef hash were cooked until they were very crispy – simply delicious and both full of flavor!
Although the sausage gravy was poured over my Benedict, it tasted more like an Alfredo sauce rather than a sausage gravy. The gravy had absolutely zero pork/bacon flavor and was blandly seasoned with salt and a scant amount of black pepper. Bacon grease is a staple ingredient and flavor in sausage gravy! What’s going on in the kitchen?
I’m surprised biscuits and gravy is a standing item on your menu since your sausage gravy is a disappointingly far cry from authentic sausage gravy.

We enjoyed a simple yet satisfying meal here. My wife had a cup of coffee with eggs cooked over hard, crispy hash browns, and a side of Greek toast, all prepared just the way she liked. I went with a bowl of cream of broccoli soup, which was warm, smooth, and comforting. Everything felt fresh and well made, making this a pleasant experience overall.

If you’re ever around Romeoville and want a great breakfast or brunch, this place is awesome! Great food and quick staff with some unique specials for every day. They also have a wider selection of teas and creamers compared to other breakfast places.

We visited two days in a row because it is that good. GREAT FOOD! Super fast service. Large portions and such friendly service! There was a birthday for a child there and the whole restaurant sings happy birthday. Will definitely be on our list to come back when we visit again!

We have been coming to tasty waffles since it opened and the service today was quite upsetting from management, our waiter however was very nice about the whole situation. When we received our food our bread had mold on it. We ended up losing our appetite and not eating more than half of our food. We asked the girls at the front desk if we can get a discount they went to ask the manager and he gave us $3 off…. I asked them that’s it? They went back and he said give them $10. You would think that customers that just had mold on their food the manager would come and apologize and talk to them and take care of them but no. So just a warning if you get food with mold on it they are still going to make you pay for it. Check your food before you eat it.

By far the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Got seated 11am. Sunday Jan.4. Waitress took my wife and myself order. 2 chicken salad sandwiches on RYE. I ordered a coffee. 15 minutes later I got a coffee. Everybody who came and got seated after us had been served.
One our later the food finally arrived.our waitress was at the table next to us and I just threw up my hands. She says your order should be right up. I told her to bring 2 boxes that we were getting out of there.2chicken salad sandwiches on honey wheat. I told the waitress this is not what we ordered I ordered rye bread. She said do you want me to take it back. I said and wait another hour are you kidding. So we got the hell out of there. And I’ll never go back

My daughter and I went here a few weeks ago for what I call a breakfast & lunch brunch lol. She had breakfast. I had lunch.
The food, the service and the atmosphere are always very good here. Our waiter was very good as well. I’ve personally never ever had a complaint here about anything. The food, no matter what you’re ordering or eating is always very tasty.
