Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Listen, this establishment will have my business forever now because of an incident I witnessed today while in the drive thru line. This is a shout out to the manager or whoever wears the gray white button up shirts. That woman handled business today. While in line a dirty looking guy with no shirt on began harassing the people in line, begging and using foul language. Who I am assuming was the manager came out and ran him off and made sure he left the area by any means necessary. This loser then had the AUDACITY to tell her to go back inside and flip burgers. At this point she harnessed the deep rooted rage of her ancestors and yelled at this man to “GET OUT OF HERE!” He continued yelling vulgarities at her and she restrained from beating the absolute brakes off of this guy. If she had, I would have cheered her on. She protected not only the establishment from an unwelcome guest but also the patrons in line. Turns out this guy had just done the same thing at the McDonald’s across the street and as I was leaving I could see he’d moved on to the line at Chicken Express.
This manager deserves a raise and every opportunity at a higher education or a promotion to a higher position.

The service here was phenomenal. They had mine and the wife’s order out quickly. We dined in for once. Our fries came out fresh and hot! Our burgers came out hot and fresh as well and were delicious on the standard of a Whataburger. Me and the wife liked this location and will be back. 5/5 stars!

i am SO disappointed, i simply asked for a plain cheeseburger with just cheese and ketchup and they somehow messed that up!! the staff was also not very polite and seemed like they didn’t care about the service but how quickly they could get me out of the drive through. ending in them messing up my order also why ask if i want sauce if you aren’t going to give it ?

I just had ANOTHER horrible experience at this location. I never come here because of it, but im sick and this one is close to my house so i placed a pick up order. Jessica Martinez was the manager. An older black woman with a thick braid was the front cashier who was extremely rude to me. I said I am here for a pick up order for Javier, and she rolled her eyes, huffed at me, and looked over her shoulder and said theyre working on it. Isn’t that a confirmation that she saw the order and confirmed that theyre working on it? I sit down and after 20 minutes asked where’s my order? I assumed they were busy, and was waiting patiently. They have six people working drove thru, one on counter. Who is rude and slow. Jessica clears drive thru and starts bagging counter. I see her clear thw screen. So I ask, hey where’s my order. To which she replied there is no order for Javier. To which rude lady laughed at me. I can not describe the anger I felt. How very rude and unprofessional. Was she ride to me cause im white? She was nice to everyone but me. I was thw only white person there. Dare I say she was a racist who laughed in myface? ? Do better whataburger? Jessica Martinez is the manager everytime I have a problem there. I will be telling everyone not to go there. The one further down in Saratoga is worth passing comparing up. Pathetic racists.

My brother and I dine in last night and when at counter placing our order I can see work area was a mess !!! Fries on the floor ,trash cans was over the top with trash and work station was not cleaned after preparing orders!! Lobby had a lot of unclean tables ,I told my brother all these workers and this place is a mess!!! And two “managers”on duty WOW gOOd job ?
