Cowboys Rotisserie Chicken is good but not as good as Boston market.. I had the okra it was good but the other two sides that was Mac and cheese and Mexican street corn was bland. 3 star because of the service, atmosphere, okra and chicken was amazing.

This was the bloody piece of chicken I received. I’d also like to note I am 5 months pregnant AND the manager barely had time to be on the phone with me. Actually hung up on me before I was finished speaking. Which isn’t surprising considering 6 different people acted like they didn’t see a customer walk in when I got there.
The service and food has seriously declined over the years. This was the first time in a while something wasn’t missing from my order but my food was uncooked.

I have ordered from this restaurant (Overton Ridge) several times without incident but today I ordered using my uber eats app and the cookie was stale and I called to let them know. I asked for someone supervising and he told me it was a “”bad batch “ and to talk to uber eats then hung up on me. This was not an Uber eats issue because they simply delivered what was given to them . I will be honest I’m very surprised by this behavior from this establishment, kind of disappointed. I thought this place was professional.

First time eating at this place and we were not disappointed. The fellow that took our order recommended the chicken and since they’re called Cowboy Chicken that seemed a safe bet. Wife ordered 1/4 chicken white meat and I ordered the Brisket and Chicken. We also both ordered the beans and coleslaw for our sides. Starting with the chicken it was cooked perfectly, the breast was very juicy and seasoned great, my wife was very happy with it. I had dark meat on my combo plate and it was falling off the bone which is perfectly cooked in my opinion. Again, seasoning was so tasty and the chicken was tender and juicy. The brisket was pulled but again very moist and tasty. I wasn’t over the moon about the provided BBQ sauce but they have bottles of cowboy hot sauce which I loved. Looks like a store brand, was very tangy, maybe vinegar based and flavorful without being burn your mouth spicy. The beans were whole firm pinto beans that were excellent. The coleslaw is just how I like it, not sweet and soupy but with nice crisp cabbage and a touch of jalapeno. They also serve it with a fresh roll that was tempting me to order more to go. Really good, will definitely be stopping back in when we’re in the neighborhood.

i wasn’t able to get her name but the light skin lady with glasses and short dark curly hair and a light streak in it was incredibly rude at the register. we told her we were looking at the menu for a minute and she came behind the counter slamming stuff down in a rushing manner and it was super uncomfortable. she did not have a positive attitude at all and made the entire interaction very awkward and unpleasant. she asked if we wanted to add drinks and slammed the cups on the counter aggressively. the chicken tenders were pretty good but the brisket sandwich was mildly disappointing especially for the price but overall pretty decent

This was my first experience with Cowboy Chicken and I was very pleased! I was nervous because of recent negative reviews due to me spending $89 on takeout and delivery fees but everything I received was delicious, tender, and flavorful. I got the family-sized Thanksgiving turkey dinner and a three piece dark meat plate and a dessert came with each. I definitely will be back and am looking forward to exploring their menu further!

Great thanksgiving turkey last year. So good in fact, that we were going to order again this year. We had out of town family in this past week, the week before thanksgiving, so I finally sat down to order our turkey this morning (Monday, 11/24) once everyone left. I kept trying to click the “reserve now”. I spent over an hour trying to figure out how to reserve the turkey before finally calling the restaurant once they opened. But no: there was a deadline for that. Even though it says “available October through december”. And there’s NO DATE listed on the website that orders have to be in by. *None*. So would you like to know where I can order a *whole cooked turkey* for family of 6, three days before thanksgiving? Nowhere. I’m so so upset. I’m a busy working mother & wife and all the running around that entails. So I was *needing* that whole cooked turkey because I can’t do a whole holiday meal, by myself, in a kitchen with one small oven. All the company had to include was a deadline date, and it would have been ordered before that deadline, because I checked the website a week before ordering to make sure turkeys were being offered this year. Oh, and BTW: you’re holiday turkey advertisement IS STILL UP AND AVAILABLE.

I have been passing this spot for two years, so yesterday I decided to give it a try. I’m glad I stopped by. I ordered a half chicken dinner with one side, which was Spanish rice. One medium drink. I got a natural strawberry lemonade. They have other choices and sodas.. The roasted chicken was seasoned to perfection.. I will be visiting again. Great food and customer service.
