My girlfriend and I came in about 7pm on Tuesday night for dinner and a drink at the bar and it was really one of those situations that you just can’t believe are really happening when they are actually happening right in front of you. The bartender was clearly not having a good day and was rude from us first sitting down until we left. I’ve never seen so much foam on a beer pour in my life the top 2” of my glass were foam the picture is from what i actually received after it all settled. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and my girlfriend just got chicken tenders. The filet on the Buffalo chicken sandwich was thinner than anything I’ve ever gotten at McDonald’s and the bottom bun must have been sitting out for a while because it was crumble in your hand stale. The chicken tinders were somehow very dry not only the breading but the chicken itself also. I had been looking at this place for a while wanting to try it because the bar area is nice and seemed clean also, but that’s about the extent of any positive things I have to say.

Let’s talk the Talk.

I stepped foot here looking to console a friend on the verge of divorce, and while this place won’t save a marriage, it certainly will save your evening with friendly staff, a great drink list, and the best wings this side of Niagara Falls.

Of course, the cherry on top is the local ownership since 1987. What a year! Walk Like an Egyptian was topping the Billboard charts, the Iran-Contra Scandal was in full force, and some brilliant visionary decided to plunk down the best sports bar in south OP.

39 years later, I have a cold Tank 7, a crying friend, and an experience that will certainly bring me back for more.

10/10, 5 stars, no notes.

We stopped in here to have dinner before our Christmas lights tour. We loved the Christmas theme inside and out. The food was good. The waitress was very attentive.

Here with a larger group and it was busy. I have never been here before and had a good experience. The steak was cooked a little more done than I asked (med). I saw a med rare cooked to a med, but it had a great pattern and seasoned well (tasted like just salt and pepper) with occasional crunch. The loaded baked potato and mac and cheese were good. I did not get the asparagus I asked for, but that was ok. I would come back and try another dish. The restroom was in decent shape as well.

Maddy is the best bartender in the game here at talk of the town! Ask for her and you will not be disappointed! She’s got a great personality and the best redhair in the business! Ask for her next time you’re getting food or a drink

Loved everything we ate. Chicken strips, burgers and waffle fries all around. My kids asked why I’ve never taken them there before. They were light on staff and very busy. So service was a little slow. Drinks are more expensive than I’d like and they ring up for more than advertised. I will go back though.

The waitress was trying to handle most of the diners alone. She forgot to order our appetizer, the deep dish pizza was definitely not deep dish, my side salad was iceberg lettuce with three croutons and one slice of cucumber and our drinks were never refilled. A waste of out time and money.

Terrible service from start to finish. Chance the bartender was rarely around and clearly didn’t want to be there. We had to get our own silverware, no one checked on us after food was dropped off, and we had to ask twice for our check—despite him walking past us multiple times while we had our card out and told him we were ready to go. It wasn’t busy, just pure neglect. On top of that, the bar was disgusting and smelled like vomit. Absolutely unacceptable experience.

Visiting from Nashville and this was a nice place to eat and watch the football game from our hotel. We are U of M fans, and they had the game playing when we walked in. That was bonus point right there! They had a wide variety of teams playing so it was nice. The service was great everyone one was vey friendly. Our food was good I was expecting a little more. My club barely had bacon on it. My tater tots tasted very oily, and the Mac and cheese was disappointing. Very cold and had absolutely no cheese. Sad about that because we love Mac and cheese. We ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, and they were absolutely amazing and huge! Really really good. My husband had the Southwest turkey melt, and said it was great! The waffle fries were awesome though! My husband really like the local Beer they had on draft. Us being out of town that’s one thing my husband loves is hometown draft beers.
