Guys, this is complete bullshit. I was supposed to have lunch at Chipotle, and I didn’t expect such crap from them. I ordered this bowl for $16!!! And what did I end up getting? This is the biggest disappointment. Can you imagine, you expect this, and in the end, you get such crap. Not only did they not put avocado in, but all the ingredients weren’t the freshest (you can see it in the photo). I’m disappointed, I don’t recommend it to anyone. My money went down the drain.

The food at this Chipotle is always solid, and the customer service is great, but the cleanliness is a major issue. Every single time I’ve gone—whether it’s during lunch or dinner—the tables are dirty, and they’re always out of something. No napkins, no forks, no straws… something is always missing. It makes it hard to enjoy the food there, so I usually just take my order and leave. I haven’t even checked out the restroom because, honestly, if the dining area is this bad, I don’t want to know what the bathroom looks like.
That said, they do have high chairs for kids, and it’s kid-friendly in the sense that it’s Chipotle—you can bring your kid, but there’s no play area or anything special for them. Parking is free and there’s plenty of it, but getting in can be a hassle because of the traffic on Cicero.
Would I recommend it? If you’re getting your food to-go, absolutely. The food is good, and the service is solid. But if you’re looking for a clean spot to sit down and eat, maybe go during off-hours when it’s (hopefully) cleaner.

This location is always great. The food is always fresh, the portions are amazing, and the staff is friendly every time I come in. You can really tell they take pride in what they do. Everything tastes fresh and the team is welcoming and efficient. Easily the best Chipotle in Illinois!

I’ve given this Chipotle Mexican Grill location multiple chances because it’s close to my home, but unfortunately today was my last attempt.
Every single time I visit—daytime, afternoon, or dinner hours—there are items missing or unavailable. Today was no different. The beans were so thick they were nearly congealed, and the portions of meat were extremely small. I ordered half carnitas and half carne asada, and the amount served was no more than about a tablespoon and a half of each. As someone in the food industry, I am very familiar with proper portioning, and this was far below what’s expected.
I asked if fresh food was coming out because the line didn’t look good at all. I was told the peppers and onions wouldn’t be ready for 20–30 minutes, then later the wait time increased again because they were “waiting for someone to come back to fix it.” The attitude throughout the interaction made ordering feel like an inconvenience rather than a normal customer experience.
I originally planned to order both a salad bowl and a burrito bowl, but the portions looked more appropriate for a child. Had the energy been better, I would have waited for the peppers since they’re one of my favorite parts of the bowl—but the overall environment felt tense and unwelcoming.
I want to be clear: I don’t like to speak negatively about employees because you never know what someone is dealing with. However, the energy in the restaurant was very heavy, and I quietly declined my food. I noticed the customers behind me also left, and when I think back, I noticed others inside without food as well.
For comparison, I regularly drive down the street to Chipotle Mexican Grill, where the service is consistently great, the food looks fresh, and portions are appropriate. It’s frustrating not being able to rely on the location in my own neighborhood.
I’m sharing this because it’s been an ongoing issue, not a single bad day. I truly hope management takes a closer look at staffing, food quality, and overall morale at this location.

Ordered a steak burrito with just cheese and extra steak, extra steak was $5.75 for a tablespoon of meat, and it was awful, meat was dry, so 17 dollars for a disgusting burrito, and you cant go to the store to get a cash refund when you pay cash, because the managers don’t have access, complete bullshit. The customer service reps are just as awful as the store.

Not a very good experience, the lady tried to serve me the bottom of the container rice, I declined then she tried to give me the the corner of Steak which I declined. She looks at me with a weird look. She says it will be a few minutes for the steak, I said no problem I will wait. So she go over to another counter which had more prepared food, she reaches in put the steak meat on.
Well too my surprise once I get home to eat, well the meat is Hard and very dry! The rice wasn’t soft, somewhat crunchy.

I stopped going to chipotle for a while because I felt like the quality went down. This location reminds me of how it used to be when they first opened. The guac is consistently good and they don’t skimp on toppings. I will definitely continue to frequent this location!

It’s currently 8:30pm, this location closes @11pm. They are out of fajita veggies, lettuce, corn, and a couple more options. It’s 2 hours and 30 mins before closing why is this always an issue at this location. I go to Orland location and this is never an issue around this time.

I went in to get a bowl. They were running low on rice so they were giving everyone baby scoops of rice. The crazy part is they were still charging the same price. My bowl looked like 1/4 of a normal chipotle bowl. They did not compromise and offer anything. No extra meat, no free drink. NOTHING!
