This place has been on my bucket list ever since I heard about it from a WGN report.
Located on Deep Lake,this waterfront cabin like restaurant offers delicious home cooked Polish meals as well as a variety of appetizers, salads,burgers,seafood and a variety of entrees.
We went on a Sunday afternoon and were lucky enough to get a table on the patio overlooking the lake.
A nice surprise was the complimentary bread and cracker basket .
We figured portions would be large do we decided against having an appetizer.
My wife had their Sunday special..Roasted Duck with steamed apples and cranberries. Also came with mashed potatoes and a cup of pickle soup
I had the breaded pork tenderloin with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. I had their chicken noodle soup.
Everything tastes like your grandmothers recipes and food is served hot and very flavorful.
Check their website for hours of operation.
If you want fantastic home cooked meals in a beautiful setting, definitely give Reflections a try!

It’s been awhile since I was completely blown away by a restaurant. Kathy was our server and was delightful for our entire meal. The restaurant has a wonderful old world feel that puts your body into a total relaxed feeling, the smells, the views of the lake… It’s special.
We started with the crab cake and Mexican perogi which were both fantastic and unique compared to basic appetizers at most restaurants.
Then Kathy walked out our dinners, the polish platter is a must, it captures what this restaurant does best, Polish cuisine at its best. My girlfriend ordered the special broccoli and crab stuffed salmon. This thing was huge! Easily the largest salmon filet we’ve seen.
If you are looking for a good date spot or somewhere to wow your family and friends you have found the place!

Had the Polish platter and just loved it. Sausage and sauerkraut was delicious, stuffed cabbage and pierogies all very tasty. This was way beyond what I was expecting. Highly recommend this place.

Went last night (a Wednesday) and was quiet, but our server Donna was fantastic. The food was amazing. Polish platter with pierogies, golabki, and polish sausage along with mashed potatoes hit all the marks and was delicious. Nice range of food on the menu with very affordable prices.
Warm, inviting environment with accordions all over the walls and old pictures gives it a Supper Club feel with a Polish twist.
We will visit again.

This was my first time here based on a friend’s recommendation. I was not disappointed with his referral. Reflections has a beautiful setting on Deep Lake and the view doesn’t stop on the outside of the building. There is so much to see when you enter the building between a very comfortable setting to all of the items on display.
When you get past looking around, you can focus on the variety of options on the menu or the friendly attitudes of the staff. The food was very good. Don’t forget to check out the “specials board” – 2 of our 3 dishes came from there! A marinated steak with shrimp and stuffed salmon was delicious! I did not order any desserts but I was tempted when I saw how good they looked coming out.
Take the time to get to Reflections – you will be glad that you did!

This place NEVER disappoints and is one of my parents all-time favorites. We’ve gone here for many special occasions and so when we were contemplating where to go for my dad’s 90th birthday, it was a no brainer. We had a reservation for 1pm, which is when they open on Sundays. We had a party of 15 + 3 little ones and everyone was very satisfied. The main things that were ordered was the Reuben and the Polish platter. The Reuben received rave reviews and the Polish platter is always sure to please… It comes with a large golumpki (stuffed cabbage), 4 or 5 pierogies, smoked kielbasa (Polish sausage) and a scoop a homemade mashed potatoes. For around $20, it can’t be beat. Most can not eat all at one sitting and personally, I have enough for 2 leftover meals. The atmosphere is wonderful with a wall of windows that overlooks Deep Lake and a gorgeous music are with many accordions displayed. The service was top notch and the food quality, exceptional.
We asked if Jack (husband of Anna, the owner) could come and play “Happy Birthday” on his accordion. He ended up doing so for at least 2, if not 3 others celebrating birthdays. I will say that we have known Anna and Jack since Jack’s parents bought “Jack & Lidia’s resort” in 1974 as we had moved from Chicago to just about next door to them in 1973. So I’m not sure if this is common practice or more of a favor to our family having known them for over 50 years. I guess it wouldn’t hurt to ask if Jack is around. You never know, he may just be available.

Awesome service and food. Spent some time before we left looking at all the old pictures. That’s when Jack approached us to ask how everything was and gave us a little history about Reflections. Best fish fry I’ve had!! No joke! Soup was delicious and the salad was fresh. Chicken Alfredo was also great. Definitely going back!

This place is amazing. The food is scrumptious and their soups are the top of the line. It is our go to place for our anniversary. Might go to dinner is the surf and turf it’s worth every penny. The last time I went there I had their Polish platter which is absolutely amazing and way too much to eat in one setting so it was nice to have leftovers.

I recently celebrated my 50th birthday with a banquet at Reflections, and it was absolutely wonderful! From start to finish, the experience was flawless. The staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect — friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to help.
The Polish food was delicious. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how warm and inviting it was in the dining room! And Jack playing the accordion for our party was the icing on the cake!
