Excellence runs deep at JoJos. The food is great. Seasoned perfectly as if you were at home carefully curating the spices yourself. Chefs kiss it was Num Yummy. Ambience was stellar. As if you are chilling with your friends hanging out, having snacks.
I took lots of pictures, judge for yourself. I’ll definitely be back during lunch because dinner is too pricey for my pockets .
I hope Ansley is your waitress, she’s the one with the dope hair style and friendly smile. I asked so many questions and she never lost her cool.
I wasn’t trying to be difficult, I have questions . At any rate, Ansley was the absolute best.

Our first time here and the food is awesome! We ordered the family catfish & new white meal with sides, everything tastes fresh. We will be back! Good service, clean and nice atmosphere. Great job to everyone!

Been here several times and they don’t disappoint, the whitening fish is always fresh and tasty. The pork chops were delicious and I had to finish them!! The catfish nuggets were decent, after putting some seasoning on them at the house they were delicious. I have dine in with friends and enjoyed the atmosphere. There was great music and the games were on the Tvs. Food came out hot. I had the fish sandwich and my son had lemon pepper wings . Proportions were good. Food was delicious. We are already taking about coming back.

I have been to this place a couple of times and this is the only place that I know that sells you fish by the pound. I’m not sure that is a good thing but that’s something that they’ve been doing since they opened. I drove all the way to Nashville to this place because it is so hard to find really good real fish. I ordered the catfish and 5-piece wings and to be honest the fish was okay and it was seasoned correctly and most of all it was real fish and not swai. The proportion of the fish was very small you only get two pieces for a pound. The chicken wings there was nothing important to report about that they were whole wings naked because they do not do braided but I guess the sauce is what made it more tasty. I had two sides macaroni and cheese and sweet yams and I had to send the mac and cheese back because it was horrible I think they were using some type of goat cheese but I know it wasn’t cheddar. The yams were so runny that I could have made sweet potato pies and used them as a filling. The service was fantastic the waitress was very attentive to our order and made sure that we had everything that we needed. Oh yeah I couldn’t forget the drinks they’re are frozen and drinks are off the chain and you will definitely taste the alcohol great job there. I’m giving two stars because like I said the fish wasn’t bad it’s just that it wasn’t a proportional size for my liking for the money I spent. Give it a shot you may like it or you may feel the same way.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. I ordered 1 lb of catfish, which is an $8 upcharge, and only received two very small pieces of fish. I also paid extra to have it fried hard, but the fish was soft and undercooked, not what I ordered or paid for. On top of that, none of my condiments or dressing were included on the plate.
The $7 banana pudding was another letdown. It was dry crackers and whipped cream—no pudding—basically just paying for a small mason jar.
I called immediately after opening my food because the order was wrong. The young lady who answered was polite but offered no resolution and said the manager would call me back. I waited a full 24 hours and received no call. When I called back, the same employee answered, but this time she was dry, unconcerned, and unhelpful. Again, no manager was available, and it felt like she was just being told to say that. She slowly said, “I… will… get… the… manager… to… call… you,” which basically meant I shouldn’t keep calling back.
I spent over $60, had missing and incorrect food, and received zero accommodation or concern. No refund, no replacement, no follow-up. This level of customer service is unacceptable.
Beware—if something is wrong with your order, don’t expect it to be fixed…. I’ll UPDATE “IF” I EVER RECEIVE A CALLBACK.

I am not one to leave a review, but I have never been so disappointed! Definitely not 1/2 lb of fish! The portions were very small, the fries were overcooked or cooked in old grease, the mac n cheese was awful, oh and how about they were out of tartar sauce! It’s a fish house! It was also disturbing to hear how the employees were taking to one another., very unprofessional! I will never go back!

The biggest issue by far was the in-restaurant music. The playlist contained multiple expletive-filled, sexually suggestive songs. I’m not naive. I know such music exists and is listened to. Just didn’t expect nor appreciate having to hear it in a restaurant. Fortunately we visited at a slower time and no families with kids were present. Strongly encourage a revised music choice.

Yes, the food/service is slow. The website tells you it’ll be ready in 15-20, but I promise you it’s always 30-45.
Always.
And I will always wait that long happily knowing that those hot honey gold wings are coming. Or the catfish. Or the spicy cabbage. Or the okra.
Or whatever else I or my partner ordered.
The restaurant itself has undergone changes over the years, from the location to the addition of a bar and TVs.
I’m not there for any of that. I’m there for the food!
But just know you’re going to have to wait for it. So if you order walk in and order takeaway, bring a book. If you order online, drive slowly, meander your way there, and maybe still bring a book.
But that food is worth it!

The pork chops had way too much salt on them. Cut down on the salt and they would taste amazing. The mac and cheese was very bland and needed more cheese, but with a little salt and pepper they are manageable. The best side I’ve tried was the spaghetti it’s pretty good, so I would definitely recommend that.
