Cafeteria style comfort food. The food was average to good overall, southern comfort style. Friday night is fish night. They had fried clam which didnt Taste good (perhaps just my preference ) . Shrimp, crab, fried fish, fried chicken etc. Was also on the menu. The clam chowder was average. The vanilla ice cream was good but the chocolate didnt taste right… a bit bitter even. But the salads was fresh and excellent and the service was fast and friendly. I have been to some shoneys and other chains that aren’t as well run as this one. The cooks and servers all seemed very engaged in doing a good job. Dinner buffet $12.99 each. Coke 2.49 kids juices 1.99.

Food was old and dry. Biscuits hard as hockey pucks. The steak I asked for to be put on the buffet was fresh and juicy as soon as it was put out. I will have to say that was good.

Salad bar was fresh. Tea was good (and served kept it full!). Ordered fish off the menu and it was good.
My minus a star is simply that this location is the first I’ve been to that not only sells alcoholic beverages, but they push ’em. No longer qualified as a family restaurant, in my opinion.

I loved the soup! I ordered soup not knowing it was all you can eat. Potato was my very favorite!
My husband enjoyed his dinner also. He chose the buffet which had numerous items on it.
Our waitress was very friendly. Sorry that I didn’t get her name.
It was a rainy evening while we were traveling home to Florida so it wasn’t very crowded which was nice.

Very friendly staff. Our waitress did go above and beyond for us. They were a little busy but she was excellent. She had taken very good care of us. The food was good. They had an assortment on the bar. Some of it looked a little old and others were fresh. The price was expensive. for 2 children and 2 adults, probably could have ate cheaper in a dime in restaurant elsewhere but would have to travel if you were wanting a buffet. You are not able to order off the menu. There is a big sign on the door due to being so short staffed. They are hiring and starting pay is 12.00 an hour. If you are looking for a job, this may would help you out.

Nice break on a long trip. We stopped in for a late lunch, the quiet time between lunch and supper. Hostess greeted us and seated promptly. Salad and hot bar looked fresh and neat. Food for our party of 5 arrived a little staggered, but not too long between first and last plate. Servings were generous, and we took portions to go. Restrooms were clean and supplied. I would stop here again.

(Last year) Tuesday senior buffet night has gone downhill drastically. Tried in April and it was great. Tried again in early June; it was still good, but they were obviously having trouble keeping buffet stocked. Tried again last Tuesday, and they were below the minimum excusable. Buffet was severely understocked and didn’t recover over the time we were there. Not recommended.
A year later: Night and day. My server, David, was prompt, pleasant, and attentive. Buffet was well stocked and fresh. Salad bar was great. Good selection of hot sides (and they were hot). Beef in Beef&Peppers was not the best, but the chicken was great. Now recommended.

The waitress was very professional and she explained what covid 19 restrictions was being used and ask use to please follow them. The restaurant was very clean well staffed. The buffet bar was equipped and stayed full. We only seen one problem with the salad bar, the lettuce was wilty and the cucumbers looked as if they were put directly in line with the refrigerator out put fan. They looked almost frozen. The location is good price was good. Most of the food looked and tasted good. Waitress kept glasses full. The art work made the visit much more enjoyable. Her art work was beautiful. I couldnt tell if that art work on the left side of resturant was yours or someone elses but there was so much detail in the stained glass pictures. Especially the beveled edges on the clear on I no how hard it is to cut the glass in that precise detail. Also, country store items was so pretty.
