Staff were pretty friendly and food was hot. Good sized portions too. Busy atmosphere even on a regular weekday so you know this place is popular. Dessert was also a good portion size and tasted fresh. Everything was delicious and will hopefully be back soon.

Sarah S. was fantastic. She steered me in the right direction for a gluten free, dairy free soy free experience. I had the chips and salsa without issue. I had the corn chicken tacos for dinner with rice and refried beans. My wife had the veggies enchilada and loved it. My first time here, my wife used to love in Austin and she’s had experience with them. The salsa was tasty, lots of lime. We will be back.

Went there for lunch. We decided to eat in the bar as it was completely empty. Rachel was an excellent food server/bar tender. We told her we were in a hurry as we had to drive 3 hours north and she asked if we knew what we wanted so she could put our order in before a huge party that was ordering. 10 minutes later our food came out fresh and hot, and she asked how everything was. We told her everything that we needed and she refilled our requests. The food was very tasty. The quesadilla was great and my brother enjoyed his enchilada. We will definitely be back to sample more of the menu.

Chuy’s is one of our favorite spots and the food is always great but tonight the service wasn’t so great. The people behind us were seated at the same time and had their drinks before we had even ordered drinks and then before our drinks (waters and a Sprite) came out, their appetizer showed up. When he finally came to get our drink order he took the food order too, we ordered queso, even specifying that it was an appetizer, but we never got it. Our server was very nice but not the quickest and he was snacking on chips every time he came by, not very professional. Our food did finally come out and it was all correct. Then the bill comes and we paid with cash, he came back to the table twice saying, oh cash, I’ll have to go get change, guess that was my cue to say that I didn’t need change but I did! The third time, he came back and said so…how much change do you need? Then he started doing the math and finally came through with the correct amount. If a restaurant doesn’t keep cash on hand for change then maybe they shouldn’t accept cash, and if you want an absurdly large tip, you should step up your game sir.

Dropped in on a whim. Nice atmosphere. Soon as you are seated, you get served chips and salsa- on the house. I ordered shrimp tacos with refried beans and rice. Would definitely like to try other items on their menu.

Good service with attentive waitress. Alcoholic beverages fairly priced. Very limited menu due to covid, was disappointed that the taco salad is not in the taco shell bowl and it was not brought to my attention when ordering. That being said, overall good experience, nothing mind blowing although food was decent it is a chain restaurant…not sure if I’ll feel the need to rush back any time soon.
