Service was just ok. It was difficult placing our orders and we got the wrong food and didn’t get some of the food we ordered. We gave up after many attempts to reorder. Not sure if the server was new or simply didn’t want to be bothered. We ran out of things and never got refills.
The food that we did get was good and fresh. Drinks were weak.
Rethink the situation if you want to go to this restaurant not worth your time and your stomach will love you.
People do not care about the quality of food they put out and this restaurant falls in that category 100%
We didn’t order drinks because when we got the food we wanted to leave. Just look at the presentation ..
He paid the bill and left
Birria tacos are delicious. Corta tacos are yummy. Steak, chicken and shrimp are all.great!
area restaurants are some of the first Mexican restaurants to open in Atlanta. All restaurants are known for their fajitas, margaritas, and use of fresh ingredients.
Over the decades, I have regularly frequented the Tucker location. It is one of my go-to spots for celebrating, reconnecting, venting, and exhaling. I’ve laughed, argued, and cried at the eatery’s center long tables and patios.
If you drink, plan on spending hours at either location. Their margaritas and sangritas are not for the once-in-a-blue-moon drinker. Over the years, I’ve developed a sensitivity to triple sec that keeps me from drinking non-craft margaritas. Fortunately, there are other tasty beverages on the menu.
The eatery has lunch specials that carry into the weekend. My go-to order is the fajitas. I also enjoy their enchiladas, chicken tacos, and chimichangas. I can eat a bowl of chips with their amazing salsa and queso dips (I love mine with jalapenos and chorizo, but it depends on the crowd I am with).
I’ll try again at a better time of day and revisit this review.
2023-7 Pretty much what we expected. Good, but standard food options and margaritas. Inside and in the outdoor dining areas are standard Mexican fare. Great service. This place can accommodate larger groups and is busy most evenings. It has a bar and private dining area in the back. We had an early dinner that included a large grilled steak nachos supreme and several frozen margaritas.
