Bad experience, and I only came for an iced coffee. Deciding to go through the drive thru was a big mistake. We ordered ahead of time and the drive thru had a few other cars. The parking lot was just about full. When we told her we ordered through the app she was confused and told us to drive up to the window. The woman there kept trying to guess our order, even after us telling her just an iced carmel coffee she still was confused and told us to go to the next window. We waiting over 30 minutes in total for the cars in front of us. Eventually getting to the last window, we told her our order and she kept shuffling through receipts and reading off what was on each one. Did you order large fries with your coffee? No , just the coffee.
That said.. everyone was friendly and we finally got our coffee and it was good, but we wished we went to any other McDonald’s.

I stood there for 10 minutes waiting to be acknowledged, finally asking if they were open or if I needed to go outside to drive through? No answer. Then some guy, maybe a Mgr. Started to take my order and then just walked away. After about 15 minutes I finally ordered.
Then I get home and they forgot my 2 apple pies. So I had to go back. This locations service, sucks and always has.

This was a weird experience. Our service and food were great, but the restrooms were nasty. The upstairs seating area was dirty, and while we were there, there were two separate and unlrealted customer issues (one cussed out the staff because one worker apparently didn’t wash his hands in the restroom. The other was a customer with a weird story about his coffee being poisoned the night before. Just bizarre).
Again though…food was good and staff was friendly.

I am writing to report an unprofessional and disrespectful interaction I had with a manager at your location. I was informed that walking through the drive-through is not allowed. I explained my situation and why I have had to walk through the drive-through, and I also showed her a receipt from the night before, demonstrating that this had already been done without issue. Instead of addressing the situation or offering a resolution, she slammed the door in my face and was dismissive of my explanation. She then threatened to call the police and have me trespassed.
I found this interaction extremely distasteful and inappropriate. Regardless of store policy, this is not how a customer concern should be handled. I was attempting to resolve the situation calmly and respectfully, and I was met with hostility rather than assistance. I would like this incident reviewed and would appreciate follow-up regarding what steps will be taken to address this behavior and ensure customers are treated with basic respect in the future.

We ordered 10 nuggets, a Spicy Crispy Chicken, and a hamburger — but it took 25 minutes to get our food.
After waiting so long, we ended up going to the counter to pick it up ourselves, since it clearly wasn’t coming to the table.
The nuggets and burger were okay, but the “Spicy Crispy Chicken” wasn’t crispy at all.
Overall, slow service and disappointing experience for McDonald’s.

DO NOT LET THE TWO FLOOR MCDONALD’S TRICK YOU. Ok, this seems weird, but I’m being serious. I get here, and me and my dad order on the kiosk. The order goes like usual, and we get seated at the 2nd floor. Two minutes, nothing. Four minutes, nothing. Six minutes, we start questioning why we came here because the Waikele location is usually four minutes. Ten minutes in, one of the employees come to our table and asks what we ordered. It was almost like they “forgot” what we ordered. Eventually they took our receipt, then our food came two minutes later. It may seem like I’m overreacting to a couple minute difference, but I’m just basing it off of how long it takes at other locations, which is usually 2-4 minutes. They also weren’t that busy. May come back again.
Also the armchairs were disgusting.

stopped by for lunch at mcdonald’s. we decided to go in to the store, however the wait time was a little longer than usual. a worker informed us that drive through would have been faster, so perhaps drive through if you are visiting. the food was good though and the facility was pretty clean. 🙂

Although it took a bit for someone to take my otder in drive thru it was worth it. This mcds is corporate so u can’t go wrong on the price!! I paid WAY LESS than I would’ve at a franchise .

I really love coming to this McDonald’s, their renovated interior is very nice and amazing, their Coca-Cola tastes nice, fizzy and refreshing (With free refills ) and their food tastes great especially their Big Mac! Their Ice Cream machine was working just fine too during my previous visit yesterday on 7/16/22 so I was able to enjoy a nice Vanilla Ice Cream cone after lunch! I also wanted to say that their elevator runs very well too, it doesn’t smell bad at all, it doesn’t jolt either when going up and back down meaning it runs nice and smooth. I definitely want to come back to this McDonald’s again considering it as one of my favorites in Honolulu, Hawaii!
