Had the 2 pice box meal, which was ok.
The only problem at this location is that the staff is loud, they were talking loud and shouting at each other laughing while cooking and serving food. They need to respect the dining room where customers want to enjoy a clean and quiet atmosphere while dining, and some employees were lounging in the dining area while on break, again, talking loud.
The restaurant looked clean.

They always give me old chicken yeah I still continue to shop with them due to the fact nothing else is open. This chicken is old. I also asked for dark meat which was thigh and legs. They gave me breast and thigh.. for $20 and for this chicken to be old that’s due to it being delivered I am very disappointed

I placed 2 order 1 hour before I went to pick up. And I’m in the drive thru trying to pick up and they say they only have 1 order. Then she tells me pull around to the front so they could forget about my other order! I go inside after a while and they ask me 3 different times what my order was. And they still “can’t find it” they call their manager and said yep don’t exist! Like okay that’s not helping me at all and they clearly couldn’t be bothered to help either. My account now has 55 dollars missing from Popeyes! And I showed them MY digital receipt and every detail about my order THREE TIMES. And they still wouldn’t give me my food without a receipt. I had my receipt and showed them over and over again and they wouldn’t give me my food. They told me to go on the app and cancel my order and get a refund. They are so negligent!! Well I won’t get that money back for days! So I had to leave without my food and 55 dollars missing from my account. I’m a single mom raising my son on my own and the one time I splurge, the employees won’t give me my food. now I have to find something else for my son and I to eat. The first woman that was figuring out my order just gave up and did other orders. Very rude! And I don’t even want to mention it but the least they would do is make sure the eatery is clean! There were cups on shelves and under tables like really! Cmon now. I’m glad they weren’t inconvenienced but I was!! Do better!

Time and again, service is slow with no heads up or apologizes. Ordering online well ahead of time doesn’t help. After 15 minutes of waiting for my online order I had to go in the store to get someone’s attention to ask. They said they were out of spicy chicken and had to cook more. This was 12:20 on a weekday afternoon. This while 2 manager/corporate looking guys just stood or sat in the restaurant doing nothing. I go to the one about 2 miles further on roosevelt just to avoid the hassle.

Very disappointing. This is probably one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a fast food restaurant. Everybody in the place looked like they were lost and didn’t know what to do. When I walked in everybody just said does anybody know who’s at the front counter? Nobody seemed to know what they were supposed to do. I waited 24 minutes after I placed my order to get a chicken sandwich and fries. There was one guy in front of me that was there to pick up an order for Uber and he said can you please put the food in a bag because it’s been sitting on the counter over there for over 15 minutes. The girl eventually put it in a bag and was using Scotch tape to wrap up the top of the bag it was extremely unprofessional. It looks like a 2-year-old wrapping a gift. When I finally received my sandwich it looked like somebody had stepped on the thing. Half of the top of the bun was missing it was stale hard but the whole inside was pure mush. Get your act together guys. I would be extremely ashamed to say that I work at that place or especially to say that I owned it.

First time going to this location, it was on the way. I should’ve read the reviews before I left without quadruple checking my items. I ordered a family 8 pc meal, with an extra side of large fries($6) and Mac& cheese . The large fries were missing only came with the small sized it comes with the family bundle. The Mac and cheese as you can see on the photo not very appealing.

Let’s see if we get a response from corporate on this one Review. Around 6 PM 12.6.2025. Girl with a big nose ring+ lady with glasses and mask on treated their internal employee badly. Missed up on a mobile order by giving to someone else. Made come in and almost beg to redo the order.
**Popeyes definitely doesn’t go by their own values such as integrity, community love Quality that’s for sure**. When you have employees like this, they don’t have overall just competency to complete simple tax. Imagine wonder under a lot of pressure? Let’s see if Popeyes responds to this review adequately once again. ..

Ordered 9 pc special w/ biscuits and $1 xtra for Mac n cheese side thru mobile app. Chix was fine but the Mac n cheese side that I paid xtra for looked like they scraped the bottom of the pan for it. Burned, hard and overcooked and unedible! Terrible. Looks like I’ll have to go to the location further south on Harlem Ave to try and avoid this.

Worst Popeyes ever! I’ve tried to give them several chances but they never fail to disappoint. Drive thru lines are ridiculous, the wait is always more than 30 minutes and there’s no point in placing a pick up order because they have the door locked so you can’t even walk in to pick it up at the counter. On top of that, the orders are always wrong. I’m convinced their employees don’t care to give you the correct order. I don’t understand how they’re still in business. Stay away from this place!
