The IHOP in Bowie Md since under new management is a great experience. Dequan was my server he did a great job. The food was hot and cooked the way I liked it. However Dequan did looked a little overwhelmed because it looked like he was the only one running the room (Table and Carryout). I would recommend this IHOP

Service was nice but the food was cold and wasn’t too good. My four year old said it was “yucky” and she only like the bacon. The waitress tried to convince my daughter that the food was good. Kids will tell you truth, so her convincing didn’t work. Plus her dad is a chef, so she knows good food.

Ordered food on doordash and the hash browns burnt and sausage barley cooked ridiculous had to put the sausage in the air fryer look like they just heated them up in microwave would have sent it back if thet gave me this in person

Our server Leidy was very considerate and nice. She came out consistently to check up on me and my family and made sure we always had refills on our drinks. One of the better servers we’ve had at IHOP. She’s great.

Me and my girlfriend came in really late at night like past midnight. I understand that service isn’t going to be the best at that time of night I went in with tempered expectations but wow was the service just really bad. Taking forever to take our drink orders, slamming stuff on our table, snatching my card when going to pay, just really rude behavior. And this wouldn’t even be that big of a problem but we’re the only people in the restaurant besides lone doordash orders here and there. It always felt like we were pissing off the staff when asking or ordering anything. The food was whatever, cold eggs but everything else was alright. What really pissed me off was the auto gratuity payment? and it was 18%?? that’s robbery. I always try to tip but practically stealing from me for shitty service is horrible. And I was still going to tip after all that. Horrible. And this is the only location that has done that, the one I normally go to doesn’t do that. I’d avoid this one and try to find a different one and if you really want Ihop.

Food was cold. No utensils although I added them. I ordered curbside pickup and no one answered the phone to bring the order but when I walked in there was a person just standing there behind the desk letting the phone ring. If I choose curbside I should not have to come in and get the order by any means.

Food was good. It came out fast. The only reason I took off two stars is because our waitress took forever to even see us, then never came to check on us. Most of our time there was waiting. To top it all off, she tried charging gratuity for 3 people. Make sure to read your receipts.

When we walked in, there was a sign stating that an 18% gratuity would be added after 10 PM. However, during our visit (around 1 PM), an automatic gratuity was still added to our bill. When we questioned it, the explanation we received didn’t match the posted policy, and it left us feeling like the rule was being applied inconsistently and unfairly.
Between the unexpected charge and how the situation was handled, the experience felt uncomfortable and frustrating. Transparency and consistency matter, and unfortunately this visit had neither. We won’t be returning.
