Burgers are fantastic. The truffle fries and calamari on the Happy Hour menu are incredible. I love how the calamari is served on top of the sauce…so good! The back porch is such a great place to gather with friends for a delicious meal and great beverages.

My husband and I used to go there all the time. We loved the place. In the past few years I was widowed and developed severe arthritis and grey hair. I live elsewhere. I was there and wanted to go for dinner. This is a sports bar / brew pub restaurant and I obviously didn’t fit the image of a customer anymore. I stood there, teetering on my cane for a long time before anyone came to see what I wanted. When I finally got seated, I ordered something I’ve always liked a lot: sliced beets on a bed of arugula with goat cheese on top. What I got this time was a few slices of beets buried under a mound of greens. I like arugula, but this wasn’t the salad I’d been served in the past. They made me wait a VERY long time to bring me my bill. So, if you are a young, upwardly mobile mover and shaker, it’s fine. But if you don’t fit into the image, find some place else to spend your time and money. I’ve NEVER been treated so rudely. Definitely understand (as if I didn’t already) how some minority people feel.

Was passing through town and had to grab some food getting back on the road. This place was the stop and glad I did. Its nice and bright inside and the decor gives a comfortable feel. The server was good and then I got to the food. Ordered the steak sandwich off the specials menu. What a great sandwich. It has a garlic ailoi with slices of steak and arugula mixed greens. To top it off, the sandwich roll was toasted with a little bit of butter. Geez, I could eat the sandwich everyday. I didn’t have any beers, but looked like a great variety. Recommend this place for sure!!!!

The charcuterie board was just terrible. Do not waste $29. I had to spit the prosciutto out because it did not taste right – much darker, yellowed and warmer that expected

The Wine Country Cowgirl Burger was one of the best hamburgers i have ever had! The Mt. Tam Triople Cream Chees and roasted garlic were a fantastic addition. The pickles were amazingly good as well.

Try the Pub Republic. You will not be disappointed!

Super legit. Food was outstanding. Service was top notch. Our party of 7 was well received and then some. Cool outdoor patio and great menu. The chicken fried steak was one of the best I’ve ever had. Cheers!

Not sure why it’s called a pub, apart from having a bar. Interesting menu, though. The fried chicken Caesar was delicious. The fish and chips were good, but the fish batter was a bit overcooked. The burger with crispy pork belly was a tasty burger, with a good BBQ sauce but the pork belly was underwhelming, not that tasty and certainly not crisp. The service was ok but a bit too keen to clear away the plates. The decor was a bit stark, with just a few enlarged photos on the wall, not very pub like. Overall, a decent enough place for lunch.

We all enjoyed the food, my Brussels sprouts tacos were excellent, ahi burger, crab cakes and French toast with chicken all very good. Only drawbacks are that the patio, while near a stream and green belt, has a high fence so you can’t see it. And a few waiter problems, wrong order for one, then a few times not knowing which table was getting what.

We stopped by after a weekend in wine country The Asian Cauliflower is way better than Dave’s Not Chicken cauliflower Crisp and tasty with a lime wedge, but not oily.

The atmosphere was both hip and relaxing ☕️ Highly recommended for drinks or lunch!

Nearly done with exploring sites around Sonoma and Santa Rosa, Pub Republic was snack time and a beer. Early afternoon and the Sunday brunch menu was wrapping up so we just got drinks and split a “to share.”

Good service though she disappeared after serving our food. Another drink would have been possible but by the time she returned, we were indeed ready to go.

The “Crispy Pork Belly” was delicious. One-inch cubes of pork belly (basically bacon) with a carrot ginger puree, roasted shallots, pickled onion and jalapeno with an orange chili sauce. Nicely presented but I really wonder why they put five on the plate instead of four or six. How do you properly share five of something?

Lots of other good options here – tacos, salads, burgers and higher end pub food. Not cheap but what is in California?
