Very good boardwalk Pizza , It’s only 200 yards from our home and we never went thinking it was typical soggy overpriced pizza. We were VERY surprised that it’s way above average , made fresh and hot and TO ORDER ( I like mine well done with lite sauce) Excellent white pizza. The Extra large Pizza is 18.95 and worth every penny it’s huge. Will be a regular stop while down in Avalon.

Every time I go to the Avalon beach, whether for the day or weeks at a time (with familyv& friends), it’s great to know that Avalon Pizza is right there. Less packing for me. We haven’t had a bad meal yet: pizza, sandwiches, salads. I highly recommend this place. I’ve been enjoying their food for 8 years. Service has always been friendly. I was there on 7/16/20 & satisfied with our beach meals. I, along with many beachgoers were disappointed that it was closed today, 7/18/20. Hoping the family-run business is able to survive NJ regulations during the pandemic.

Just had plain pizza at this establishment. It was OK and very convenient that it was right on the beach. Nothing award-winning, but still giving them 4 stars because my kids were happy and ate it.

I went here the other night with my friend, ordered 2 slices of pizza and they only heated one? And the pizza tatsed a little old. No one said anything to us, no greeting, no “hi what would you like?,” nothing. When I went to pay, they did not tell us the price so I handed him a bill and he looked at me like I had 3 eyes because I did not hand enough money, but I did not know the price to pay. We have gone here many times before and I am sorry to say I am disappointed.

In past years this place was adequate, but this last time, the hoagie roll was stale, the turkey meat dried out, and the pizza was cheese covered cardboard. The stars are for the older lady with blonde hair who was kind to me and my daughters. The cashier who took my order ‘forgot’ to charge me for my hoagie… close to $50 for a hoagie, a pizza and some drinks NEVER AGAIN!

The only food place open that I could quickly walk to from the beach and they didn’t even offer a full menu. The only options we had were pizza and fries and the pizza wasn’t that great. Next time I’ll be sure to pack sandwiches for the beach.
