The person who took my order was super friendly and helpful. The wait was a little delayed but what I’m upset about is that only 1 sandwich of my 2 sandwich meal made it into my bag. First thing in the morning and trying to get to work on time so I went through the drive thru. Won’t make that mistake again

Don’t trust the drive here. The screen you pull up to has been broken for awhile so they just put up a poster of the menu so you can’t check to make sure they have your order correct. They don’t read back your order and the printer for the receipt doesn’t work well so that doesn’t help either. Good luck reading what you got based on a partial printed column. You just have to figure out what you paid for at the final window. When you ask why was this not your order, they get annoyed because that’s what was in the system.

The Baseline
The Baseline: This is a McDonald’s review so there is a baseline for McDonald’s. The baseline is that burgers, fries, shakes, and soda are prepared well done with properly applied ingredients that should taste the same if you get it in Florida, Montana, or in California. The Coke machines should always have their extra filtration method that makes them taste better than any other restaurant. That is the McDonald’s baseline.

Food: Food is McDonald’s food. You come here because you want it to be standardized. I found my best methods of maximizing my McDonald’s experience is using the app. It is more affordable to add +1 meat patties, extra pickles, etc. rather than buying additional items. Also the app provides rewards and deals (i.e. $1.49 Large fries if you select the deal through the app).
The coke is spot on fully filtrated at this location.

Service: Staff has been very efficient and friendly when I pick up curb side and I have found my orders to be more exact on my customizations when I use that method. Plus I use the app a lot so it is very efficient.

Atmosphere: This is a very clean and updated McDonald’s, so it is good on atmosphere. I typically get my food delivered curb side as I like to relax in my car rather than constantly inch forward in the drive through. The only thing you have to watch out for is the occasional beggar who will try to engage with you.

Update: The McDonalds app is becoming one of the easiest and best fast foods apps to use.

Consider going in instead of the drive-thru of this location if it’s dinner time. I don’t want to be too harsh because I believe the large SUV in line caused the very long delay since the car in front of me was quick. The line was very short and I wanted a quick meal but it took a long time. The people were friendly, my sandwich was warm, but my fries were lukewarm/cold. Super quick to get on I-405 South from this shopping mall. When leaving McDonald’s, turn left and head toward Costco then turn left again and at the signal you just go straight to get on 405. That was a real time saver.

Ms Rosa(drive-thru cashier) & Ms Erika (manager) didn’t want to honor my app coupon because according to them my phone is not updated(how would they know?) continue to tell me that my coupon was only valid at the kiosk inside the restaurant keep in mind my coupon states kiosk or drive-thru. Continue to give me attitude when ask if they would honor my coupon when my coupon was displaying that it had been use when she enters the code but in her end according to her it wasn’t working when my app was clearly showing her it had been accepted when she enter the code. They are not problem solvers they are problem seekers worst customer service. Is not about the money or honoring the coupon but the customer service with attitude that i received this morning was not acceptable for me to even finish purchasing the food. Decide to go somewhere else! Do better with Customer Service.

Oder iced coffee comes out warm coffee. They are very busy for chatting each other. Complained but they’re look like so what’s the matter. Very bad attitude and service.

The size and atmosphere. Music was great and calming. Service was a little slow but really nice. Only problem was one particular customer blasting his cell phone music for no apparent reason.

One kiosk to order your food when there’s 10 people in there is quite ridiculous. The store is dirty, I counted 6 flies while waiting for our food. Floors dirty booths grimy you would think McDonald’s has standards but not in Hawthorne. This will be the last time we stop. Never again stay away. They are dirty here.

Good service. Fast response, clean tables, quiet, and bathrooms. Great food for the price. Staff works hard; especially with the homeless that seem to target this place.
