I am glad I read some of the recent reviews. I don’t know why some people had bad experience, but I am glad I did not.
I had takeout from here about 5 years ago and it was cold, soggy, and old. I had refused to eat from this place since then.
I ordered online and got my food in 15 mins, and it was still fresh and warm/hot when I got home. They were also beautifully fried and fries were not soggy.
The atmosphere is still roughly the same. Typical dark and empty parking lot, but the interior seems much cleaner than I remembered. The staff at the lobby counter was also attentive and welcoming.
Thank you to the staffs today that made me change my mind. I will be adding this place back to my take-out list.

I haven’t been here for a while after the new management and my visit was definitely interesting. I went in around 6 or so and there was an issue with a customer about a mistake the manager had made she was quite angry and I waited for the issue to get resolved so I could order. There were only two workers (including the manager) besides the cooks for some reason. It looked very stressful for the other worker in there but the girl took my order and she was so sweet and she still managed to give me my order in a timely manner and it was delicious. and I also think she was also handling drive through which is impressive but obviously I I would’ve enjoyed it better without the yelling so I went home to eat it. But i definitely think I will be coming back based on the way that sweet girl handled everything and how delicious my tenders were!

We went through drive through to order a 16 and 8 piece family meal. We were told that we would have to wait 15 minutes for the chicken to get done. I didn’t want to wait but my husband did.
We got our food in less than 15 minutes and everything was hot and tasty but they were out of hot sauce.

This place was great, when they first opened. Friendly employees and atmosphere, and delicious, fresh food… Until corporate management left. Since then the employees treat customers like second class citizens, at best. The ugliest attitudes, followed by equally terrible service. Went through the drive through several months ago, and the order was wrong. Went in to try and get the rest of our order, and was ignored for 10 minutes. Managed to keep a positive attitude, but it took another 10 minutes to get the rest of the order. Gave them one last chance today, through a pickup order. The food was fine, but we were missing several items. Called the store and spoke to the supposed manager, who was about as unhelpful and rude as every other employee there, that we’ve encountered. I don’t know who is in charge of the hiring process, but that person should be replaced ASAP! Look at the reviews – the attitude of the employees is overwhelmingly shadowing the quality of the food. These people can’t get it right, and they couldn’t care less. It’ll be another empty building in FDL, with recognizable markings of what could’ve been a great addition here.

Since Popeye’s have been under new management I must say the food and customer service is a lot better. The food is fresh and inside the store is very clean. The manager and staff helped me with my orders and prepared my food quick and easy. Forget the old Popeye’s and how it was ran a few months ago. I highly recommend people to go order and eat there now. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Nice job

The food is delicious, i wait more than 20 minutes to get my meal and the restaurant was empty, the service is terrible the worst service ever. They have staff who don’t care about being friendly or providing good customer service. About 5 or 6 months ago, it was very different. The service was good, everything was fast, and there were some super friendly Latina girls with great charisma helping with coupons or special, now you ask for special and they dont know anything, everything is slow, dirty, and the staff is unfriendly. If they don’t change the staff, this will be another KFC situation. Even the manager is rude and has a bad attitude.

I ordered my food and witness my fries being gripped from top of the fry cup, gloveless. His whole palm was in my food. Shortly after looking for fresh fries, someone else was returning their food because of the meet still being pink. His overall tone not hearing my order was off as well. I’m not sure what happened to this place but it is absolutely unsanitary and I refuse to eat here again.

Went through the drive through and ordered a 3 piece chicken combo and asked for red beans and rice on the side. The lady talked me into getting LARGE combo because it was “cheaper”. After getting across FDL I found they didn’t give me my beans and rice. NO receipt, and when I call to let them know, the only response is some RUDE woman. ALWAYS cold food, and ALWAYS screw up your order. Never again

I went through the drive-thru, ordered my food, and they got my order wrong. On top of that, the young woman had a terrible attitude, throwing things around, slamming the window , and never even said hello. She took my entire order without asking or waiting for me to speak, and kept repeating “anything else, anything else” every time I ordered something. The worst service ever. Her name was Hailey.
