We stopped into Waffle House and had a mixed experience. The biscuits and gravy were a real disappointment — the biscuits tasted stale and the gravy had that cardboard‑like flavor you just can’t overlook. The bacon was overcooked and brittle, and the coffee was so weak it barely woke up the cup.
But there were bright spots. The waffle came out fluffy, extra hot, and exactly the kind of comfort you hope for when you walk into a Waffle House. And the grits? Absolute home run — creamy, hot, perfectly seasoned, easily the best part of the meal.
Overall, not their strongest showing, but the waffle and those out‑of‑the‑ballpark grits reminded us that Waffle House can still hit when it wants to.

Ordered to go. They missed all the extra sides of meat but charged me for them. The eggs were under cooked, whites were runny, no where near over medium. The phone number did not have an option to transfer to store so we couldn’t even call to get it rectified.

This place is a really nice family friendly place where you can grab something to eat and in peace. My family and I have been coming to this specific Waffle House for the last two years right after church and it has not disappointed.

HANDS DOWN the least professional Waffle House I have ever been to. One waitress talking about how she is gonna make a scene next time she sees “that customer” .
My waitress talking about ending her life in front of my preteen daughter to the short order cook trying to provoke me into a fight over grits.
This maybe the type of behavior you expect at 2am but it was 1130am on a SUNDAY MORNING.
On a positive note, my daughter and I decided to go across town to the 9MILE location and recieved TOP TEIR service. Food was great, environment was clean, positive, and way more festive.

I stopped by this location this morning around 10:00a. Ordered the pecan waffle. So yummy! There’s an older gentleman working as a host, he was so nice and respectful. I literally have never been to a Waffle House that was so organized and clean.

We came for the cultural experience. Will come again for the food! We had never been to a Waffle House so we decided to come while we are visiting the South.We sat at the counter because the few booths inside were already filled. They asked me how I wanted my bacon cooked!! I’m in my ’80s and no one ever asked me that before! The server suggested medium, so I went with that and was very happy. My over-medium eggs were done perfectly. My daughter had grits with cheese and she loved them. The 70s music playing in the small restaurant caused some camaraderie between visitors, as people acknowledged they knew the songs. The food and the atmosphere were lots of fun, if very antiquated and industrial. Definitely a cultural experience that you want to do at least once if you have never done it before.

Put in a to go order today. Went to pick up and the 2 girls working claimed we put it into a different location because they haven’t received anything. My husband walked back to the car to verify with me and I provided him the receipt with the time and address and the confirmation message. When we went back to show them they still were saying that wasn’t their address when it most definitely was. One of the girls finally turned around and looked at where they receive to go orders and of course our ticket was right there. They told us it would be a minute. It’s one thing to tell us you are busy and it’ll be a minute but to continuously try to make it seem like we made a mistake is what made this trip annoying.

We left to run an errand and returned for food. After receiving food and coming back home the order was not complete. One bowl lacked bacon and eggs leaving just hash brown cheese and mushroom when the other had no chicken or onions in it. It’s impossible to reach this location via phone so now have to go through the hassle of contacting higher up just for my refund of over $30. Disappointing

Walked in and rather than being greeted with a good morning or hello I was immediately told “ It’s gonna be a minute.” Server was obviously having a rough morning as she was grumbling and mumbling under her breath of the entire time I was sitting at the counter. Super unpleasant and not someone who I cared to be around. So I left and gave my money to the breakfast Brothers next-door.

Never been to a Waffle House before as we don’t have them here in Cali. Stopped in since I’ve always wanted to try it. Love the atmosphere. It’s like hanging out in family or friends kitchen with all the patrons just laughing it up. Strangers getting in convos. You get good food for a good price. Stop in and grab a plate. It’s not fancy but still good.
