At Big Al’s we like to “keep it in Colorado” from the locally raised hormone free staff to the recycled and repurposed décor. Big Al’s has taken what others were going to throw away and given it another chance! Our tables and chairs were a fun collaboration with locally owned, Wool Hat. HeyWoodite Chairs from the Eames era with “serious fun” in mind. These particular chairs were rescued from CSU, after years of providing seating for lectures in the classroom.
Burgers, hot dogs & flavored fries are served in a cheery space with repurposed decorative items.

Don’t order the rice krispie treat it tastes like butter, and there are like three marshmallows in it. The chili is super bland, and when ordering the chicago dog, I asked for no onions, and they put that right on top. Definitely won’t order from here again, and I won’t recommend it to anyone.

Ordered food for delivery today. Every single item was ice cold, so cold the chili on the fries and hot dog looked like it was days old because it had become crusted. Then they slapped a piece of sliced cheese on the chili cheese fries. Again, so cold the cheese didn’t even melt. I could pull it off in one piece. Who uses sliced cheese for chili cheese fries? The burger was mush like it wasn’t cooked all the way (and I like my steak rare so that’s saying something). Tried to eat the food because I don’t like to waste food but I couldn’t. Highly disappointed and doubt I’ll give it a second try.
