I’m never disappointed when I come here. I’ve been a customer since they opened years ago. I’m here on Christmas Day and they have such an impressive spread. Service has been great from day one. The place is always clean. Food is consistent while still trying new things. I highly recommend eating here!

We as a family had visited this establishment over the holiday, the buffet was handled correctly and had fresh rotation within the time frames outlined with serve safe handling as well as local health codes. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was amazing and child friendly. The tables we able to accommodate disabled persons we were with and had ample seating for I r our large group.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Let me begin by dating this is hands down the best Chinese buffet I have visited. Everything was flavorful, fresh and just absolutely delicious. Price was $30 for 2 at lunch time, which is a little on the pricier side but hey, everything went up so I can’t blame them. The vibe in here is weirdly modern, it looks old school Chinese buffet with pop music playing which isn’t bad, would prefer the traditional Chinese music to make me feel like I’m in china, but I won’t knock them for it. You will not be disappointed at all. Thank you Mankato and owners of china buffet for allowing to come and visit this hidden gem!

It is much better than last time I was there. From 1 line of food, they finally opened up 6 lines. No longer use plastic untensils and little plastic cup. Of course the price increases, but all food costs are higher now. Food is good and various enough if you don’t want to travel 1+ hours to go to other buffet in cities. 5 stars for the effort and all the postive changes the new management team made.

As Chinese Beluffet go, they have everything and the food is always fresh and well stocked. Many drink and desert options in addition to the salad bar, plus all of your favorites. The place is clean and well cared for, in addition to being family owned.

As many may know or ha e seen my other reviews. I often go to Asian Buffets when I am by myself. I get to save a few bucks and eat whatever I am in the mood for after a long day of work. Usually it’s the same menu and basic taste and you get what you pay for. Well, not this time. WHOA… I have to say, in the 40 years of eating at an Asian Buffet, China Buffet has topped every one of them. It’s the Mankato secret. I mean, I was blown away. I actually had two plates. The fish was superb the, the shrimp was perfect, the string beans were awesome. I have to try it again in the middle of the week to make sure it wasn’t just a dream.

Excellent food, and great verity. Did deal much with the staff, but they were friendly. Everything was very clean, but make sure you check your silverware. Found a few forks and a couple spoons that were pretty gross. Over all, we would go back and recommend this restaurant. I wasn’t at all disappointed.
