I ordered a maple old fashioned and my friend got the zero proof chili margarita from their cocktail menu. Both were very good.
Every item we ordered came out very well plated with an even better taste.
There was a gentleman performing and I must say, we really enjoyed his music.
I would definitely recommend giving this place a visit.
Unfortunately the only good food were the oysters and popcorn. The taco was literally a whole chorizo and pre made cold tortilla with very minimal cheese, but the sauce was good. The octopus and potatoes were cooked well but tasted a bit odd and sort of dirt like?
Again, the service was really good and everything was plated well! We did only have a few things and may have just gotten the not great part of the menu so I wouldn’t completely write this place off.
That said, they had a musician come in to sing jazz and play the keyboard, which was LOVELY. A very good brunch vibe, just wish it were a little more well lit.
They offer non-alcholic drinks as well, which were a bit pricey, but gives another option for people if they do not wish to drink.
The food came out quickly and all tasted delicious. I want to come back for dinner to see how it compares.
upbeat and filled with joyful noise! However, the food left alot to be desired. The price/serving ratio left us on the losing end. The pulpo or charred octopus, was teeny-tiny and cold, served with burnt potatoes that tasted of teflon and oil. My husband ordered the fried chicken for $30. His meal came with fried sweet potatoes that lacked sweetness and creaminess, but had distinct earthy flavors that I could not vibe with.
There was a game room upstairs that was poorly lit with an overwhelming bad odor, similar to an unwashed booty. There was also an unattended bookbag in the corner filled to the brim with clothes. No surprise, we turned around and left just as quickly as we entered.
I don’t believe that we have any plans on returning for dinner, perhaps eat elsewhere and come for the show? We shall see.
