Stopped by Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen and got exactly what you expect—in a good way.
Service was fairly fast, clean, and efficient, especially for an urban location. Nothing over-the-top, just solid execution.
The place looked and smelled good, and the food delivered. Chicken was on point, rice and beans hit the mark, and everything tasted fresh. No complaints, no surprises—just Popeyes doing what Popeyes does best.
If you want reliable, familiar comfort food done right, this spot checks the box. Sometimes “exactly what you expect” is a win.

Let me start off by saying this is my favorite popeyes to go too, but on 2/24/26 my husband and I decided we wanted some shrimp tackle box meals . We ordered 4 for our family. The drive thru cashier asked us to pull around to the front of the building , which wasn’t a problem. We waited maybe 10 mins, but no one brought our food out. My husband went in to see what was taking so long. The cashier was like oh yeah and bagged the food up, my husband grabbed the bag thought nothing of it. Now we live about10 to 15 mins away from this store. We get home to find out he gave us surf and turf not the shrimp boxes that we ordered. None of the boxes had fries or biscuits. Mind you we spent 25.00 for these meals. My husband called the store , and whoever was speaking to him was being very sarcastic and rude so my husband hung up, this was such a disappointment and money wasted. I am a very upset customer.

Why?? Asked for extra mayo and got a mayo dipped chicken like come on now it’s either no mayo or this like. The person in charge of the sandwich station doesn’t care about the product or something because they put so much mayo the bread is soggy it’s not even able to be eaten it just falls apart. Train your employees or get better ones

The COOK/S had a bad day on this day. I ordered chicken breasts and thighs, fries, macaroni & cheese, and red beans & rice. The waiter forgot the fries so I went back to get them. The chicken was dry with very hard crust. The fries had no cajun flavor, The macaroni & cheese was watery with very little cheese. The red beans & rice was watery with and barely had beans. I should have taken pictures. I thought about retuning the food but was concerned that about keeping my composure. I threw the food in the ️. This POPEYES NEEDS A NEW COOK/S.

Chicken taste kind of like a chemical. Don’t know exactly what, but it definitely was not chicken!!
Mac and cheese smells like pure plastic!!! My Spouse tried it said it taste like pure plastic!!! She immediately threw up. I’m sick of this nonsense. My window server was the only great thing. She was so respectful and professional.

I only came in to pick up a Grubhub delivery. While I was waiting, someone came into the lobby screaming about how they didnt get the condiments they asked for, this customer was very loud and very rude, but the team handled it so professionally and courteously that it feels wrong to not mention. I know that if I was in their shoes, I’d wanna scream back at that person.

I went through the drive around 6 pm today and ordered a Large Popcorn Shrimp Combo. I asked for the cheese bites (the whole reason I came) and Cajun fries. I was told they ran out of cheese bites so of course I’m already disappointed so I instead got mashed potatoes. I also ordered a mango lemonade and two pies (apple and strawberry cream cheese). I was charged for everything I ordered ( the combo, pies, and cheese bites). However I didn’t receive my pies nor the cheesy bites, and even though I ordered large my drink was a small. To make things even better they purposely didn’t give me my receipt and the girl at the window had an attitude. I’m already sick and just wanted a nice comfort meal to help me feel better. I will never come back to this location.
