Live within 2 miles of this place for the past 10 years yet never knew it was there. This gem has actually been in business for over 20 years in this location but somehow stays hidden. Well not hidden to us anymore!

Great Italian restaurant, fantastic cozy atmosphere, superb waiters and staff, dimly lit even though we went at 3:15 pm., and the food, OMG, perfect balance of spices and herbs that enhances the taste and in no way overpowers the actual food. Large portions (we got to bring home leftovers!), fantastic Wine selection, beer and alcohol selection also above par.

Wait, did I say it is a great restaurant? Have been told after 5 their wait times can very, so this is not so secret. Highly recommend.

The food and service were incredible. Such a cute little gem. The ambiance was adorable, they had Valentine’s Day specials, and the Aperol spritz and cannolis were the cherry on top. The bruschetta, red sauce, gnocchi… all mouth watering. I will be back.

This is our new favorite Italian restaurant, and we’ve been looking for one far and wide ever since we took a trip to Italy a few years ago. It doesn’t look like much on the outside but once you walk inside it feels upscale. It was busy but we were seated almost right away on a Friday evening, though reservations are recommended because I think we just got lucky. They have a huge selection of wines, I’m not big on red wine but even I liked what they presented. I ordered the mare (pasta with lots of seafood and shellfish) with gnocchi and white wine sauce and asked for it to be creamy and it was DEVINE. We can’t wait to come back!

Great dinner, wonderful atmosphere, we sat on the patio. Wine was amazing. love the pasta, and sauce choices. The tiramisu was pretty fantastic. there was nice music playing in the background but we had no trouble talking. Will definitely return!

I recently visited this wonderful Italian restaurant and had such a memorable experience. I shared a delicious spaghetti meal with my son, who asked me to go on a little “date,” which made the evening even more special. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the wine selection was excellent, and the whole atmosphere had the feel of true fine dining.

As someone who owns a cafe and works in the restaurant industry myself, I really appreciate the level of care that goes into creating an experience like this. Our server was exceptional—attentive, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. It’s the kind of service you can’t fake.

I love supporting local businesses, and this visit reminded me why it’s so important. This restaurant delivers quality, heart, and hospitality in every detail. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back!

After seeing the restaurant’s impressive 4.6+ star rating, I was excited to try it out for the first time. Unfortunately, the food fell short of expectations from start to finish.
The complimentary bread was the first red flag — it tasted store-bought, bland, and lacked the freshness or flavor you’d expect from a traditional Italian eatery. We ordered the Formation Goat Cheese Dip as an appetizer, but it was underwhelming. The goat cheese was overwhelmed by oil and had a sharp, acidic taste that made the dish unappetizing.
For my main course, I had the lasagna, which was incredibly bland apart from an overpowering garlic flavor that dominated the entire dish. My husband’s meal was also noticeably bland, lacking any depth or traditional Italian seasoning.
While the staff was friendly and attentive — a definite positive — the overall dining experience was disappointing. Given the high rating, I had hoped for more authentic and flavorful cuisine. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant based on our experience.

We had friends visiting and I’ve been wanting to try Alessia’s, so I made reservations. There’s plenty of parking and it’s wheelchair friendly. It wasn’t crowded when we first arrived, but by the time we left it was pretty busy. The garlic cheesy bread was scrumptious. Our friend got the calamari and he loved it. My husband tried it and thought it was delicious. My husband ordered the salmon and wanted to lick the bowl clean because it was so good. Our friend ordered the seafood pasta and ate it all up. His wife ordered the Amatriciana with linguine pasta (you can choose your own pasta). I ordered the Alfredo with penne pasta and added Italian sausage for an additional charge. I loved that the sausage was ground up and not chunks of sausage or a whole sausage. I had the waitress put a lot of fresh Parmesan cheese on top. Yummy!! For dessert, our friends ordered the cheesecake and chocolate cake. They loved it. Hubby and I ordered the limoncello cream cake and it was divine. My husband tried the cheesecake and said it was delicious. Hubby and I will be going back.

The place was busy, noisy and kind of chaotic which didn’t feel much like an authentic Italian restaurant. The food was pretty good but the vibe felt rushed and not very relaxed. Service was just okay and it seemed like we had to work for it instead of the other way around.

Had dinner and wine tonight. Lasagna, carbonara, shrimp pasta, mushroom and sausage flatbread. Everything, including the wine was outstanding!

Okay I work down the street and have eaten here multiple times. Food is amazing and serve is great.
I bought my wife in for a Valentine day lunch. It really needs a deep cleaning this time around. Please don’t let that discourage you from eating there. This is the first time I have seen it this way. This is more of a review for the staff and owners.
