We had heard a lot about this place, so we decided to book it for our anniversary and we were not disappointed. The quality of the steak was excellent delicious and cooked perfectly. The staff were very friendly and made the experience even more enjoyable. We would definitely come back again.

Went here for an early Valentine’s meal after trying to book Flat Iron which was fully booked. I’d seen this place on TikTok before, so we thought we’d give it a go and honestly, it was such a blessing!
The food was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly and you could tell it was really good quality, definitely better than anything places like Flat Iron or M&C have to offer. We loved being able to choose different sides to go with it too, which made the whole meal feel really well put together. The value for money was outstanding as well, which made it even better. Also, would definitely recommend a takeaway dessert if you are too full, the eton mess and banoffee pie were both lovely!
Service was also great, especially from Chez, who was super friendly and made us feel really welcome.
We’re still talking about the meal days later and will probably keep going on about it until our next visit. Really glad we ended up coming here, we’ll definitely be back!

I was originally recommended this restaurant by a couple of work colleagues. Me and my partner have been here a few times now. We always look forward to coming here. It isn’t cheap but it’s absolutely worth every single penny. The service is always unrivalled, the food is mouth watering and the experience as a whole is one of the best in the industry. If you are debating whether to book this place, just do it. You will NOT be disappointed!

Really amazing place. You get a lot of food for your money. This has got to be one of the best steaks I’ve ever had you won’t be disappointed coming here. We decided to visit this place because we saw Gary eats review it and we love watching his videos so we decided to go check it out on a my girlfriend’s birthday. We had a lovely experience.

We have visited this restaurant twice recently with very different experiences. Our first visit in November for my birthday was absolutely lovely, which is why we decided to return with the family on Boxing Day. Unfortunately, the second meal was disappointing. We were seated in the snug room which was very cold, and the filet steak I ordered arrived lukewarm. It’s a real shame, as this isn’t the standard we were expected after such a great first visit. I hope it was just one-off holiday rush issue.

Me and my husband had the sharing platter
Two beautiful starters.. I had bbq chicken tenders.. which lived up to their name so tender
We then shared a 18 oz steak with 4 regular sides 2 large sides
Everything had amazing flavour, the steak was so tender melted in your mouth and we took two puddings home
Great price for what we had & the staff were super friendly
When we ordered they asked us if it is was a special occasion which we said no just child free meal out.. they did a little plate that said child free club what a lovely little touch
Clean toilets, easy enough to park
Def will be returning!!

The wine list was good value.
If you love steak perfectly cooked with mouth watering sauces this is a must visit.
I would have given it 5star except it was rather cold in the area we sat, so the food got cold before we could eat it all, and I had to sit with my scarf on.

Absolutely wonderful experience for Sunday lunch today.
I am a wheelchair user and the restaurant rang me this week prior to my reservation and asked if they could send a video regarding access, which is tremendous. It’s something I’ve not come across at an independent restaurant before in 33 years, and I encourage more businesses to do it.
My friend and I had the Sunday best platter. This is advertised for 2 people. My friend finished his: I brought half of mine home, as well as the desserts that we brought home included in the price. So be ready for a large plate of food!
Everything was absolutely delicious, I particularly enjoyed the cauliflower cheese. The photos here are before the application of gravy, which was automatically refilled when it got low!
The staff were extremely kind and ready to offer help, opening doors and moving unoccupied tables and chairs out of the way to make things easier.

The steak was cooked so well! The food was so good! It was all well cooked, hot. One of the best steak I’ve had! Even though it was not cheap, I woild so come back again because the quality was worth the price!

Literally the best sunday dinner we’ve ever had.
From the moment we walked in the doors of the Falcon Steakhouse we were met with warmth and smiley faces.
All staff members we encountered were knowledgeable about the menu and more than happy to accommodate us and our toddler – who must have given the surroundings diners atleast 15 renditions of twinkle twinkle.
Not only were the staff and setting lovely the food was incredible – we drove almost an hour from our accommodation in the Cotswolds to the Falcon and we were not disappointed.
We opted for the sunday sharing platter – “The Sunday Best”
Which consisted of Lamb, Beef and Chicken. Yorkie puds, pigs in blankets, roast potatoes, broccoli, creamed leek & kale, carrot & swede mash and bottomless gravy.
Genuinely THE TASTIEST roast dinner we’ve ever encountered!
This was followed by dessert (included in the price of the sharing platter), I opted for the creme brulee and hubby had the (enormous) sticky toffee pudding with rum and raison ice cream.
The Sunday Best sharing platter was shared between both myself and my hubby plus our small human (almost 2 and a half year old) – we just got an extra yorkie pud for her so she didnt eat all of ours
Would 100% recommend visiting the Falcon Steakhouse
And if we weren’t heading back to Derbyshire on Friday – we would definitely be returning to try their steaks out
