I have given Pollo tropical several chances but every time I’m disappointed. Last time I went I could not even communicate with the person taking the order and eventually I just gave up at the drive-thru.Today I tried again and I got a grilled chicken sandwich and I could not believe how small the piece of chicken was. If you look at the picture attached of the piece of chicken it looks absolutely nothing like the pieces of chicken in their advertisements on the menu. In those pictures, the chicken breast is larger than the bun size. Previous times I’ve gone the service has been mediocre at best and for a year they did not even have unsweet tea because they said their machine was broken. How could the machine be broken for a year? I have totally given up, even though the food can sometimes be tasty, it is far too much aggravation.

I hate to be the guy to do this and I’m sure I’m gonna get some sort of canned response but I’ve been steady going here since they originally opened. I moved out through Weston in 1996. This place has always been solid but the last few times I’ve gone there I’ve Had very bad experiences as someone else said the staff is rude and unresponsive talking about customers while I’m sitting at the window, waiting for my food, rolling their eyes when told things by other employees where customers can visibly see it and then snapping at me when I ask for a condiment is not the way to maintain business. I just ordered delivery through a third-party app tonight for the second time in a row my order is completely wrong not there’s an item missing but it’s completely wrong. Somebody else’s order entirely. I wouldn’t be this upset except I needed specifically what I ordered for something. I’m preparing here at home. I’m injured and cannot drive back to get it so this really kind of messed me up. I don’t trust that if I re-order it it’ll be delivered correctly so I’m not even gonna bother. I guess I’ll have to think of another plan for dinner after waiting 50 minutes for the delivery. Not to mention what was delivered is half the cost of what I ordered and looks absolutely terrible so I don’t even know what the point is I should’ve known better by now!

Terrible service. Staff at the Weston location is not friendly. They are not responsive, they kind of ignore when you are trying to tell them something. I used the drive thru and wanted to make a change on my order and kept trying to call the attendant’s attention and she kept ignoring me like if she was deaf. She didn’t even greet me when i got to the window. Pollo Tropical definitely has to invest a little more in customer service training.

My mom just went to this store she is a senior vice president of a bank mind you. She placed an order asked for extra rice and as she left it was not in the bag. she drove right around back into the drive through and pulled up the the window to let them know and the drive through gentleman stated he knows he put it in the bag when she asked him so where did it go he basically insinuated she was hiding it for free rice. The lady in the store with him stated “she saw him put him in the bag”… again my mom said it was not in her bag all she did was leave the drive through and come right back around. maybe they put it in the wrong bag everyone knows this pollo gets orders wrong all the time. instead they embarrassed my mom for a 3$ rice when she could literally buy all the rice in the restaurant and then some! My mom so embarrassed offered to even pay extra and buy another rice they refused her payment and as they handed her the rice again made the statement “no but i know i put it in the bag” again basically accusing my mom of lying and stealing a $3 rice. A senior vice president of a bank lying for $3 rice is ridiculous. They need to learn better customer service in training and that’s obvious with this store. I’m on the phone with corporate now because seeing how upset and embarrassed my mom was when she got to my job for us to have lunch together made me VERY upset and I need this store to do better!!!

While getting my tires replaced nearby, my daughter and I stumbled upon Pollo Tropical for lunch. Let me just say, this was easily one of the cleanest Pollo Tropical locations I’ve ever visited! From the spotless floors to the well-maintained condiment station, the attention to cleanliness was impressive.
The customer service was equally stellar. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the manager went above and beyond by offering me a sample of their lemonade before purchasing. It’s rare to see such thoughtful gestures at fast food spots!
As for the food, it was fresh and flavorful. My daughter got the Kids TropiChop, which was the perfect portion for her, with tender chicken and vibrant toppings. I opted for the regular TropiChop with ½ rice and lettuce as the base. The chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the toppings—fresh tomatoes, sweet corn, and hearty black beans—were served on the side, allowing me to customize each bite.
To drink, I had the guava lemonade, which was sweet and tangy with just the right amount of tropical flair. It paired beautifully with the meal and was a refreshing treat for the warm day.
Overall, this Pollo Tropical exceeded my expectations in every way. Great food, outstanding customer service, and a clean environment—what more could you ask for? I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in the area!

Young woman at the drive thru with pink hair is extremely rude with an attitude. Was very rude to my fiance for no reason. It’s pollo tropical, it’s never that deep that you should feel it’s okay to be rude to a customer.

This has become one of my favorites chicken places to eat. They didn’t have a lot of employees working today but the manager took my order and the way he did it make my day. He was super friendly and helpful when talking my order. And when I finished ordering the order was ready in less than a minute. I’ll be definitely coming more often here. You’re doing an excellent job.
