Great place!! Oh my .. Took my wife here and she loved it!! I got major points! A nice Cuban flair here.Maddie was a great server! Nice, sweet, attentive answered questions came back to check in with us even sold us pastries for tomorrow’s breakfast! My wife had the pork plate which was unbelievable!! I have a snapper which I’m going to have dreams about tonight! The rice was very good and the beans were amazing!! She had a watermelon drink but she liked my iced coffee du leches was fantastic! We had popcorn the chicken as my lunch mate! She was okay ,she didn’t bother me. Just don’t leave your table unattended..The birds might get to it.not the chickens, the other birds! All in all a fantastic dining experience!

Absolutely fantastic experience!

We had the peel-and-eat shrimp and the red snapper, and both were outstanding. The shrimp were absolutely amazing — honestly the best shrimp I’ve ever had. The red snapper was excellent as well, perfectly prepared and full of flavor. We were both more than satisfied.

The service was incredibly friendly and impressively fast, and the portions were so generous that we even needed a to-go box. The atmosphere is great, with super nice people all around. A special touch was the owner coming by the tables to say hello and have a short, friendly chat — it really made us feel welcome.

We truly felt at home here and will definitely stop by again when we’re in the area.

Highly recommended!

My spouse and I are traveling for work and stopped here because the place caught our eye while site seeing and we also saw the great reviews. It’s no wonder, this place is fantastic!

The staff are super friendly and attentive. The place itself is unique, fun, warm and welcoming. We spotted a few chickens hanging out and a rooster and these were some of the most beautiful animals we’ve ever seen. Not to mention they were chill and the place was still very clean.

The food was delicious and all of it was freshly prepared. I have a gluten allergy and did find here.

It’s appropriate for all ages. I’m not sure if it’s accessible if you have mobility needs, but I’m pretty sure I spotted an entrance that did not require steps. The prices were also inline with what you get. Especially since this place is a bit out of the way.

Lastly, I felt so comfortable here. For me I know it’s because this is an openly LGBTQ owned and friendly place. I haven’t found a whole lot of this in Florida, and as a New England resident, I noticed the subtle queues immediately. I allowed me to let my guard down and enjoy my time there.

Great place. #GoodVibes!

We had breakfast here and were warmly greeted upon arrival, which set the tone for a great experience. The wait staff was attentive without being intrusive, and the food was flavorful. The quaint outdoor seating area created a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, made even more charming by the chickens roaming nearby, which added a unique and memorable touch to the vibe. Overall, a wonderful spot for an enjoyable breakfast.

I stopped here for a quick bite to eat that took about 2 hours. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and I ended up having to take it to go because it took so long just to get it. They seem highly disorganized and unable to manage their orders in a timely and proper way.

I absolutely loved the steak sandwich full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Our server Guy was amazing, truly a 10 out of 10: friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. If you’re looking for authentic Cuban food, Havana Cafe is the place to go. Highly recommend!

The HavAnnA Cafe was a delicious restaurant with good vibes! The staff here were super friendly and made us feel right at home. We stayed on Chokoloskee Island for two nights and went to breakfast here both days. The first day we insisted on sitting inside since we weren’t used to Florida bugs. Staff was very accommodating and even gave us some bug prevention lotion. The second day we ate outside which was super cute and had calming vibes with cute chickens! We got the guava/cheese pastelito , beef empanadas, chorizo breakfast sandwiches, Cuban coffee, and Cuban breakfast sandwiches. Everything about this place was perfect! Thank you for your hospitality!!

Absolutely outstanding. Took a motorcycle ride to Everglades City and saw on the Coffee Hogs YT channel that they had gone here and heard the food was incredible. This is true, I had the best Cuban sandwich ever, a Cuban sandwich is made with marinated mojo pork.

The service was superb, I sat at the bar counter, I always like to do this because they serve me much quicker. All in all, a wonderful experience and the food is definitely worth the price. And the bartender makes some awesome drinks. I must place to eat if you’re ever visiting Everglades City which is close to Marco Island. If this restaurant was open in miami, all the other Cuban restaurants would suffer

Funky fun place. Only one server which at first was fine but then it got busy and she was running all around. The cuban was amazing, juicy meat and great flavor. The breakfast burrito was large but more onion and pepper then eggs or meat. The sangria was ok at best and for 14 dollars..I say pass. 70.00 dollars for one sandwich one burrito and a sangria…way over priced! Get the cuban pass on the rest!!

What a cool place!! Definitely want to come back and try new items on the menu. We only came for the cafe con leche and some pastries. Everything was good. It’s a little pricey but we’ll worth it for the area.
