I’ve visited this place quite a few times and each time I’ve tried something different Regrettably, I’ve never taken a single picture of the food. Why? Well, because by the time I opened it after being tempted by it’s amazing aroma wafting from the backseat the last thing on my kind was to just look at it.
The service is always warm and inviting and my order is always made fresh to order. Their grilled chicken is BOMB.COM! It tastes so good whether you have it in a sandwich or a salad. Their gyro dinner is sliced fresh to order and plates with enough food for you and a guest. The best part about all of this is the price.
All in all, definitely a great spot for some great food.

Great hot Italian beef sandwich. The fries were excellent also. Order at the counter, get your food. Gets extra points for being local. Enjoyed my lunch. It’s not the prettiest sandwich in the world, but it was tasty.

Grew up coming here and 25 years later it’s still the same. Whenever I’m in Glen ellyn I try to sneak a quick bite. One of the best place for a gyro and the tzatziki sauce is so good. Hotdogs are great. Pizza puffs are delicious. The services is awesome. I’ve been here over 50 times and never had a bad meal.

This place was very busy at 12:30pm, so you know it is a popular place.
I tried the fried egg hamburger and the burger was delicious but the egg was very brown, too brown for me to eat most of it.
My granddaughter tried the chicken vegetable bowl and said it was okay.
I joined the reward program, but the points are dropped at the end of each month and as this is half an hour away, I will notbe back this month.

This place is insane. The food choices are amazing. Always start with the basics. Had a cheese burger. Super juicy with the perfect seasoning and char flavor. They don’t skimp on the toppings loaded with onions and tomatoes. One of the best burgers I’ve had while dining out.
Fries were large cut and super crispy outside and perfectly done.
Staff were amazingly organized and friendly.
Definitely going back to try out some of their other items.

Mediterranean dinner tastes healthy and wholesome. It comes with salad, salad dressing, chicken kabobs, tzatziki sauce, and a bed of rice (all generous portions). I like asking for it to go bc personally can’t finish it all at once. Makes for a great second day lunch so long as you refrigerate it & separate the salad on the lid portion of the styrofoam container.

So I am finally leaving a shining review for this wonderful place which I first visited December of last year.
My family and I were on our way to the Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora but I mentioned to my wife that I wasn’t interested in dining anywhere at the mall.
She mentioned she could go for some gyros so I was Googling venues on the way to our destination. There was a slight detour off of the interstates for going to Flip’s before making it to Aurora but it was well worth it.
Excellent Chicago/Greek grill with tasty food in a cozy dining space, there’s outdoor seating as well but it was December in the Chicago area. Extensive menu at reasonable prices and the staff are super friendly.
I live all the way up in Beach Park so I’m not sure when’s the next time I’ll ever make it down here. Understandably there are hundreds of Chicago grill restaurants in Chicago and the suburbs alone but Flip’s definitely stands above most I’ve been to in Lake County.
I do love Chicago/Greek grill food and never grows old on me. Always try my best to support local and I hope for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s).

I only ordered 3 regular sandwiches 2 beefs and 1 gyro 1 fry 1 onion ring I called the order in they said 15 minutes I show up wait in line to pay and then wait 15 more minutes for the order. I get home and I am missing the gyro I call to complain and the jerk on the phone tells me to come all the way back and get the gyro. I explain coming back will make the good I have cold he did not care and hung up in me I call back and he states not to yell at him. So don’t waste your time or money at WOKE Flipps

I have a love/hate relationship with fall and chili dogs. I love fall and good chili dogs. I hate the fact that most places make a bad chili dog.
Flips probably makes one of the best chili dogs in the area currently. While they do have beans, it’s not loaded with them. The chili has a good consistency as well, not the paste you ate as a kid. Flips is sitting on one of the best chili dogs made in the area. No idea about the cheese variety, as I’m not a kid.
Don’t sleep on this dog folks.
