Biryani tasted more like pulav and lacked salt, which was disappointing. However, the chicken handi was amazing rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious!

Not a fine dine at all! the food was horribly sour! Except mango lassi didn’t like anything!
Had ordered paneer lababdar, butter chicken, saag corn along with sesame cauliflower and paneer starter but every dish had either too much vinegar added or had too much lemon ! Without lemon they would have tasted better but with so many sour things on plate, just ended up eating plain onions and garlic bread that we ordered!
Will never visit again!

We had a wonderful meal at Pakwaan after enjoying the Ice Festival. The service is impeccable. Each booth has high backs that are cloth, absorbing sound for excellent conversation and privacy. The meals are made with fresh and traditional ingredients. The food is excellent! Prices are very reasonable.

Came here on a recommendation of a co worker/friend who said this is the best Indian food he’s had. Sure enough this is probably some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. I haven’t eaten at many Indian restaurants but this was sooo so good. And the restaurant itself is a really nice environment. We came in and did the buffet. And I love being able to try a wide variety. Definitely beyond worth the price. I was shocked we were one of two couples in there for a Saturday lunch buffet. But it was a holiday weekend. If you’re considering trying it here just do it. I promise you’ll find something you like. I liked everything and tried multiple things I had never had. The butter chicken I could eat everyday!

WOW! Pakwaan blew me away with their bread options, delicious vegetarian paneer choices, and incredible butter chicken. Everything was incredibly tasteful and the service was superior. Everything we ordered was incredible, hot, and filled to the brim with spices. Great atmosphere for a date night or fancy going out that doesn’t break the bank too.

This is our go to Indian spot by far. The service is always great, the food is amazing and the price is fair! We’ve been for dinner and their lunch buffet. The buffet does include some spice which we personally enjoy but some may not. The pakoras are amazing and their naan is very tasty. The lamb curry is so succulent. We love the staff as they are very attentive and nice! Will keep coming here for as long as possible

From the moment we walked in it was great! The smell, the music, the service – excellent! And then there’s the food.. wonderfully presented, full of flavor, fresh and also generous portion sizes. Well worth the money spent. 10 out of 10!

Easily one of the best Indian restaurants in and around Plymouth. We have visited multiple times and everything is delicious. Appetizers like sesame gobi, chilli paneer, spring roll, are all a hit! We usually order garlic/butter naan and the curries. Personal favorites- Baingan bharta, makkai saag and paneer tikka masala. You can ask for the level of heat and they will make it accordingly.

This was my first time having Indian food and it was really good! We ordered a bunch of dishes and had it family style – I definitely think that this is the best way to do it! All of the food was really good, the service was solid and the waiters were very informative, and the atmosphere was really cool! This felt like a really authentic experience and I enjoyed it greatly! There were four of us, and I feel like this was an appropriate amount of food!
Naan Basket: this came with four different types of naan and all were very good! These were perfect to dip into the various dishes!
Kasari Paneer Tikka: super tasty! It’s pretty much just spiced cheese and vegetables so you really cannot go wrong with it!
Mango Shrimp: this was solid! The spring had tails on them so that was a slight disappointment. It’s just a bit hard and messy to deal with the tails while trying to eat this dish. But it was solid – had a nice sweet taste too.
White Rice: very standard and not much to say here. It paired well with all of the dishes!
Goan Fish Curry: I was a little skeptical of this one, but, it was solid! I liked it and the fish had a nice taste as well!
Chicken Makhni: by far my favorite! Everything about this dish was amazing and it had great flavor. I’d totally be content just getting multiple orders of this one!

Food: Biryani suppose to be good based on my colleagues information who has been going there regularly with his big family. But being a vegetarian I decided to try their starters especially the ones I love and was disappointed, sesame Gobi, crunchy but too sweet and sticky sauce. The vegetarian kebabs were worse, no taste, very very dry and just for a stick of cheese in them.
Service especially the person running: for pick up it was okay, nothing positive or negative say. Went it and the guy just gave the food without greetings and paid and no thank you. Which is okay for me, but based of the recent incident by my colleagues who loves biryani there, it seems off. Has gone almost to shame regular customer when it was pointed out the regular biryani they order had just two pieces (maybe an oversight), my colleagues was accused of already eating it.
Atmosphere: I have been there once before but after checking the place out we decided to instead go eat somewhere else, it did not feel inviting to me but it’s a personal choice. It was very empty.
