Our service was as cold as the weather outside and much slower than it should’ve been, given the fact there was only one other occupied table present in the vast, windowed room. My husband enjoyed his burger with fries, and our view was extra cozy, given the gentle snowfall just beyond the sizable glass. I have dietary restrictions due to autoimmune diseases, and the waitress at least was able to conjure up something safe enough for me to eat. Was the chicken on my salad flavorful? No. But do l appreciate the effort to feel included? Yes, 100%. This is a place I wouldn’t mind revisiting, given the convenient location, following a hike in Estes or souvenir shopping just down the street. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth a stop in.

Wayfinder is hands-down my new favorite restaurant in Estes! Their gluten-free options are amazing, and I have to say the fried pickles and fish & chips were absolutely perfect—hot, crispy, and delicious. My husband had the prime rib sandwich, and he gave it a 10/10, calling it the best he’s ever had (they even make and carve the prime rib in-house!). On top of that, Larissa gave us fantastic service—friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. Fast food, great flavors, and a wonderful experience. Can’t wait to come back!

We had breakfast at Way Finder. It was great. Egg whites, gluten free, vegetarian options all available. Great food. And our waiter Isabel was also very good. Also view here is just amazing, watched elks walk by while we were having breakfast. Their lunch and dinner menu looked great too. And tables available near the river. Great ambiance. We stayed at Spruce Lake RV Resort, which is with in 5 minute walking distance. Must see! Thank you.

We have gone numerous times for breakfast, but we just came, for the first time, for lunch and it was excellent. Our waitress, Brenda was very knowledgable and provided us with great recommendations. The quality and portions of the drinks (Carajillo, House Bloody Mary – Extra Spicy, Bloody Mary w/Siracha) along with the food Appetizers – Brussel Spouts, Rocky Mountain Nachos) and main dishes (Prime Rib Dip, Carne Asada Burrito) were spot on. It was such an enjoyable and relaxing experience we plan on coming back to try their dinner menu. We recommend you give the Wayfinder a try.

This place was recommended on Open Table, which is why we went, but it feels like the land that time forgot. No music was played for the last 40 years, and it looks like it has been some time since it has been renovated.
A positive was that the wait staff was attentive. My strawberry mojito was tasty. I feel like they were doing the best they could.
My trout was okay, but could have had more of a fried look to it. The peppers with chorizo the highlight of my meal. My pan-fried trout was almost $50!
My husband’s meal was 2 pieces of chicken that was almost $30. He said the potatoes tasted like they were old. I thought they were okay, but I’m giving his input as well.
The real takeaway is that we spent $96 for a meal that should have been 1/3 of that price. I get it, this is a tourist town but I would not recommend it. I don’t feel like the quality is worth the price of the meal.

Burger was good though condiments were scarce with only ketchup available (there were tomatoes, lettuce, and onions). Onion rings were great , but the fries were old, cold, stale, and awful! Prices were a little high with a sada costing $5.00. Not coming here again

If you get the chance to sit on the BACK patio, that is the best view/atmosphere in the place. The indoor seating is okay. The food is good but nothing that stands out particularly. Overall nice place and staff and somewhere that we frequent.

Food and service was great. Only issue was there was an overwhelming “cleaning chemical” smell as you enter the front door. Thankfully it wasn’t as strong at the table. We ordered Pork hash and Strawberry Banana French toast. Food 10/10!!

I give this place a 5 star. Customer service was excellent. Jesus was attentive, very friendly and was awesome! Kudos to Jesus! Food was great! We had the beef rib eye and pork chops, very tasty! Homemade green chili which is always great. Definitely our go too place up here!
