Another amazing meal at Como Steakhouse! Had dinner 11/28/25. I’m hesitant to leave such a positive review because I don’t want it to get too crowded, but this is a stellar experience! The grill is in the middle of the restaurant so you get to see your meal prepared. Historic building atmosphere. Def get the sausage and cheese platter for a starter. We got there before 6 so we got seated immediately. See pics. You won’t be disappointed!

We visited Como Steak House for the first time to celebrate my mom’s 80th birthday after receiving several recommendations. We waited about an hour and a half, which we didn’t mind because we were told it would be worth the wait. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Our server, Feliyah B., took our order. We ordered two 15 oz ribeye steaks cooked medium well. The appetizer was good, and the salad and baked potato (which was huge) were also fine. However, the steaks were well done, dry, and very difficult to eat.
We immediately addressed this with our server, Feliyah B., when she returned to the table. She informed us that the manager would not do anything about it, stating that their policy is if you order medium well or well, “you get what you get,” and that it’s the customer’s risk. The manager never came out to speak with us.
As a result, we paid $45 per steak for food we had to take home and attempt to salvage ourselves. That is unacceptable. I am highly disappointed and will not be returning or recommending this restaurant to family or friends. No customer should risk their money on a mistake that is not their fault, especially when the restaurant refuses to make it right.
For a steakhouse, I would expect management to at least check the steak or allow the customer to cut into it before leaving the table, something many reputable steakhouses do. Also, why does my steak look like a slice was taken out of the side? Smh. $150 down the drain. Lesson learned. Choose establishments that respect their customers and stand behind their food.

Best steak in North Mississippi. The Italian dressing will make you devour your salad. Phenomenal service. Peak atmosphere. You’ll never regret a night at Como Steakhouse.

We were really looking forward to this place. I heard so much about it. So, we arrived a little after 5pm. They open at 4pm, closed Sunday. We had to wait awhile, about 30-45 mins. I advised get there at 4pm. Once we were seated the waitress came to our table. She NEVER told us her name and was really NOT attentive to us. One time she brought us someone’s plate. She really NEVER, NEVER CHECKED on us on the regular.
My 24 ounce steak was not cooked tender at all. I had to take it home and finish cooking it. My wife food was much, much better. I DON’T KNOW IF I WILL RETURN.

Great Steak and a Great Old Fashion Cocktail which reflects my bill Bring tome with you and get early there if more than one person. If you are alone you might end up eating at the bar without waiting time which was great in my case…

After a 30 minute wait, we finally seated in the main dining area that also houses the oversized open grill. For the ambiance, this is great. But on a day when you’ve been melting even indoors, not so much. The a/c must have been set at 70° which was NO match for the nearly century-mark temps outside! Then our waitress must have gone on vacation bc she kept mixing our orders up. She mixed our beverages. Then brought us someone else’s entrees. Took those away and we waited….waited…waited. Only to have to switch our entrees with each other…yep! Thankfully, it was the right food & right table; just wrong recipient. I wish the downfall ended there but not. My husband’s steak, though cooked medium-well, was dry and tough. But, oh my….the pork belly w maple bourbon glaze was absolutely delicious! For me, this helped me to forgive the heat & all of the other mistakes. My suggestion: call ahead.

Absolute garbage. I ordered my ribeye medium rare. It came out medium well, I didn’t mention it at all. My wife’s filet was ordered, medium. It came out extra rare. We sent it back twice. It still came back rare. Manager was insulting and even gathered all the servers around in an attempt to mock my party, even promoted a table of males to intimidate my party all the way out to the parking lot. This place will never be as good as it can be with the current people they have running it.
Service is terrible therefore they add an 18% gratuity to every check. Pictured is the filet that was sent back twice, in a box for four hours, and in the fridge for one hour. It is still not a medium steak

I love Como steakhouse, but honestly the food is so hit and miss. Unfortunately the last two trips have been kinda a miss. The porterhouse lacked seasoning imo. For the money, and wait time to get a seat, you should expect more. The atmosphere is great, the service is very good as well. The steaks are decent, I just don’t think they compare to big M steakhouse.

Steak was fine. Salad and potato were lackluster. A forced 18% gratuity on a table for 2 results in you only getting tipped exactly what you force me to give you rather than what I would have tipped, and for it being a high end steakhouse, that 3% credit card fee is BS.
