I went to the Fairfield Perkins this past Sat and had the best experience ever. I had Hannah as my server. She was very upbeat and kind. She made sure to check back on us and even offered desert. The was a manager walking around and she was actually checking on tables and seemed to really care about how people were doing. I love to see that because it’s not a regular thing nowadays. And when we were leaving the cashier Julia was super sweet and told us about the coupon book and we bought one especially because it benefits a children’s charity. We will definitely be back I love this location

BEWARE ‼️ We will never return‼️We checked the math three times. We clicked on 20% for a meal of 24.37. They ripped us off for a $7.19 damn tip‼️The frickin cashier tried to justify it as it must have been calculated WITH the tax added in. NOPE. That still only came to $5 .19 for a tip So their stinking machine magically ADDED TWO whole DOLLARS to our bill.

Don’t let THEM hustle you for a bogus tip. Who tips over $7.00 for a meal less than 25.00?
If they’re going to give you a MAG 7 for your birthday, I guess you have to pay for it by over tipping. On the entire amount. That is the customer’s choice, NOT Perkin’s choice. The service was not exemplary.
We won’t be back. We had to wait upon entering b/c they were having a meeting before their evening shift started. So we had to holler back in there to get seated. Two bad experiences.

Service was much better than I expected.
I told my server that was absolutely awesome that I would definitely be back to eat there because of how well she took care of all of us.
Its hard to go somewhere these days where you will be taken care of the way you should be.

I didn’t know there were still Perkins restaurants in business. Nice to find a little throwback chain restaurant. Overall the food was decent and the service was good. I would say the desserts are the best thing on the menu. I still prefer Cracker Barrel but it was fun to go here for nostalgic purposes.

We eat here a couple of times per month. We enjoy this place and have never had any issues. It’s not a gourmet restaurant, but the food is good, servers are friendly, and the prices are relatively normal. We’ll certainly continue to eat here.

I witnessed a staff member there treat and elder man very rudely and disrespectful towards him. All for what he sat down at an empty table in a completely empty section out of the way while waiting for his food he had ordered to go. He was harming no one just waiting on his order. She could have been more respectful instead of hateful, rude and down right mean to this elder man. When is it ok to treat an elderly man that way NEVER. She needs to be reprimanded for how she treats the elderly.
