I really wanted to like this place when I visited on Monday January 19th but after I returned home to eat my meal, I was not satisfied.
Positives:
-The lady at the drive thru window was friendly and provided good customer service.
– The frog legs were delicious. I was told, they will have them until the end of February 2026 or until they sell out.
Negatives:
I was not impressed by the long cheeseburger. The burger did not seem like it was cooked properly. The were portions that were cooked okay and then other parts of that seemed significantly under cooked. There was quite a bit of red on parts of the burger. I didn’t finish the burger and threw it away. Also, I had the onion rings. To my recollection, they were probably the worst onion rings I have ever had from a fast food place. I didn’t eat all the onion rings either.
Overall, even though the frog legs were good, I was not satisfied by the time I was done eating. There are several other local fast food places that do SIGNIFICANTLY better and their food is exponentially more satisfying. The two stars is only because of the frog legs otherwise the experience was horrible enough that I would have only left one.
It’s unlikely I will return because there are to many other good local fast food places that serve food that is much more satisfying and of superior quality.

They took the round burgers off of the menu. Long burgers are ok, but their regular round burgers were the best burgers (of the drive thrus that are left) here in the valley. It’s sad that another great Idaho original is no longer an option. Especially for native Nampans’. Sorry to see this
You really should bring them back…
After all, what burger place quits selling regular round hamburgers?
Maybe try Blazen Burgers instead? They are right down the road and they have better finger steaks. Oh yeah, and ” normal, regular” hamburgers

I was really wanting to like this place. The reviews and photos were not to promising but the menu items sounded really good. Unfortunately, my burger was not good. I ordered the avocado burger and it was burnt and also smelled really off putting. My husband didn’t like his much either. However, the fries and tat-or-tots were delicious! The service was also so good. The girls working were so sweet and service was nice and quick.

First time at Wheeler’s, we had the long burger special with chili cheese fries… it was good. The chili cheese fries were the bomb! The long burger was unique and tasty. Definitely recommend you stop in and have a taste for yourself. Definitely a return visit for me. Next time I’ll take pictures. See you soon Wheeler’s!

Four meals with milkshake replacements for two of the drinks was $70 The meat was incredibly thin and long burger stands for everything was bought at Costco, including the hotdog buns and the tomato. The cheese on my wife’s burger wasn’t even melted, and the three other burgers were all cold as soon as we rolled away. Staff was nice, but terrible product for ridiculous price. Save your money.

Loved the “long” burger and have to say that the onion rings really are some of the best in the valley. My wife loved her chili dog with the “award winning” chili tasting much better than a typical fast food joint.

The food was delicious, but if you’re going to order for delivery, do it through DoorDash, not Wheeler’s website. We ordered through the website, and we got a confirmation email, but never heard anything about it after that. Almost 2 hours after ordering, I called them to see what was going on, and they said that the food had been ready for over an hour. I told them that it was supposed to be for delivery, and they said that no one had ever picked it up. I asked if they could check with the delivery people to see what the ETA might be, and they said that I would need to do that, because they had no idea who their 3rd party delivery company was. I told them that I also had no idea because I never received an email other than the confirmation. They didn’t really give me a solution other than to wait a bit longer to see if someone came to pick it up. Nevermind the fact that I had already wait for almost 2 hours, the food was beyond cold, now. I asked them if they could remake the food, and I would come pick it up. They agreed, and all ended well. I just find it so strange that they don’t even know who their 3rd party delivery system is, or how to get in touch with them….

The dark sorcerers tried to bury my review, when it twas the food that shall be buried. BEHOLD, for I shall not be silenced! —–There I was, enjoying a perfect cloudless day. I thought to myself, a bugah would really put a cherry on top of this glorious afternoon….. Then the darkness came, in the form of a dry, overpriced bugah whose vessel was that of a hotdog bun. Be warned fair travla, do not be deceived by the charm, for dark magic is brewed heah. Also the onion rings suck

Everyone I know thinks wheelers has great food. The hamburgers are gross, I can’t remember what the fries were like. I just remember the nasty burgers. I will never go back there again. So gross
