Our first time there tonight & will definitely be coming back. Everything was perfect, from the delicious food to the amazing service. Both our servers were on it. Had a cool conversation with the manager & super nice guy. If your reading this u have read enough….now go eat & enjoy. Trust Me.

Ps. Those portions were big & im here for it.
And definitely try their cocktail drink “Mezcalita” so good.

Excellent Cuban and Caribbean dishes.
Plentiful servings with robust flavors.
Pleasant and attentive service.
And reasonably priced.
Great place for a business lunch too.
Authentic Cuban Sandwich that was PERFECT… (bread was absolutely award winning) and it was perfectly prepared.
Very nice job “Armando”…
(I don’t know if there’s actually an Armando but kudos to whoever in charge. The staff did a nice job and the food was delicious.)

Excellent food and very good experience overall!

We decided to Armando’s because we were in the mood for Mexican food, but this was so much more. There were several interesting choices on the menu, including Spanish and Cuban dishes. The stand out of the night was the calamari appetizer. It has some potato on it, and it was super tender and super tasty. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal and this was such a great pick.

We will definitely be back to try other dishes.

After several visits, I’m convinced Armando’s Caribe, a Duluth gem serving bold Latin flavors since 2008, is a cornerstone of the community’s dining scene.

My latest Cazuela de Mariscos was a revelation – brimming with plump shrimp, tender scallops, and mussels in a rich, savory broth that hums with just the right kick, not heavy on tomatoes. My wife’s Arroz con Pollo is comfort in a bowl, with chicken so tender it falls apart and rice carrying a subtle, smoky warmth. Each dish feels like a love letter to Caribbean and Spanish kitchens, rivaling the best we’ve tasted stateside.

The cocktails elevate the experience: my Armando Margarita was delicious but a touch too sweet, so I added a tequila shot kicker for a bold, citrusy zing. My wife raved about her mojito’s crisp, minty delight.

Service is very satisfactory, though not always attentive, but the vibrant food, lively atmosphere, and stellar adult beverages make Armando’s a true Duluth treasure.

Absolutely amazing! We got the paella. It comes in its own sizzling pan so you can enjoy that burnt rice at the bottom. We ordered lobster tacos to go for our sons. I loved it and so did my husband! We will definitely be back for more!

It has been our go to place for 5 years! We are regulars and they are such a welcoming crew. Drinks are amazing, chicken, and rice dishes are the bomb. You can never go wrong with the calamari

Absolute disaster. Picking up food, arrived on time and waited over 25 additional minutes. There were no updates while I sat in the lobby the entire time. When the food was finally ready I let the to-go gentleman know and he sarcastically replied “what can I tell you, it happens.” WOW…
I get things do happen, but some advice from someone in customer service management. Apologize for the delay, give them an estimated time and don’t be dismissive and sarcastic.

Food and service were both outstanding. You have to try the molcajete bowl (see pic). My only knock would be the chips and salsa because the salsa didn’t seem homemade, though it didn’t slow me down.

Armando’s to the rescue! My husband’s company party was cancelled by a restaurant (that was booked well in advance) just 6 hours before it was set to start. We called Armando’s in a panic asking if we could bring 40 people to take over their bar area, and THEY DELIVERED! The service was IMPECCABLE, fast, and accurate. It was as if we’d booked the party months in advance. Nearly 40 people ordered right off the menu (it was too last minute for a buffet style setup), and the food showed up quickly, fresh, and delicious. This place is a well-oiled machine. We live 20 minutes away from Armando’s, but will now make them our go-to place for delicious Mexican/Caribe food! Thank you Armando’s and see you soon!

The restaurant is nicely decorated. However the food is very Americanized and the burrito I had wasn’t what I’ve experienced at other similar locations. It’s like fast food not restaurant style food.
