I came here in a Saturday evening. There was a short line. Waited 10 min. The place is nicely lit.
Me and my daughter ordered the same thing. Crispy spicy Chashu wraps and KOKU TONKOTSU. THE TAMEN IS GOOD. ITS DELICIOUS.
I took a pic to show I finished the whole thing bit because I was hungry , but because it was good. I have to come back to try more. But they won’t disappoint you. My daughter approved this review too. The wraps are tasty. They’re small. Just for one person. Get 2 orders of you like them. This is one of the best ramen in LA county.

There is always line. But it went pretty fast for us. Friendly and fast service, tasty ramen, clean. What else do you need from good ramen place? Will definitely visit again if in Pasadena.

Food was good but not the best ramen I had. The broth was flavorful, but it was unfiltered and small pieces of bones and cartilage would be in your dish.
Totally normal but I would expect a restaurant to do a better job and skimming the broth. The toppings were of good quality, especially the braised pork.

We waited in line for 20 minutes, the place was packed when we arrived and packed when we left. Our order was mixed up, so we ended up waiting a bit more.

It was a good ramen but maybe not worth the wait in the rain.
2 ramens and 2 Mexican cokes 55$ plus tip.

If you find yourself along Colorado Boulevard in Old Town Pasadena and hunger sets in, I suggest making a quick turn on to Fair Oaks Avenue and searching for Ramen Tatsunoya. You’ll know you’ve arrived when you see a striking tree centerpiece inside the restaurant. We visited for a later dinner on a Saturday evening an hour before they closed at 10pm and the restaurant was at full capacity. Thankfully we didn’t have to wait long and were seated quickly by their friendly staff.

We started with the Crispy Spicy Chashu Wraps and the Housemade Gyoza. Both appetizers/side dishes really hit the spot. In fact, I enjoyed them more than I did the Spicy Miso Tonkotsu Ramen. The ramen broth was flavorful but a bit too rich for my liking and not spicy enough. It also would’ve been nice to have the option to customize the noodle set-up. I’ve had better ramen at a few other spots, but I still recommend Tatsunoya as a great comfort spot for ramen!

I visited this restaurant recently and was disappointed with my experience. I found a hair in my ramen (they did not provide me with the new dish instead just said “sorry”) , and the spoon provided was visibly dirty. Cleanliness is very important when it comes to dining, so this was concerning. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their hygiene standards.

Very yummy ramen in Old Town Pasadena! We had no wait time for a table even though the restaurant was quite busy on a weekday. The menu options were simple and the food was hot and tasted great. The extra additions were a bit pricey but the soup itself was enough. I highly recommend their classic Koku Tonkotsu, it has a super rich broth.

Great price for the quality of the experience. Their noodles may not be my favorite, but all of the ramen broths are excellent. Don’t be scared if there’s a bit of a line at the door; they get people in and out quickly. The servers are all pretty hardworking, it’s just seems that some of them have a hard time understanding what you’re saying.

Always saw the line outside Tatsunoya so finally got the opportunity to try it. Overall the food is decent but we personally were not blown away. Surprised the egg wasn’t even cut in half and never experienced having lettuce put into ramen.

Busy as expected on a friday night in Old Town. Lots of families and babies like this place. Lining up even though there were plenty bench seats empty. Ramen and Gyoza were done right. Deco is clean and simple and the center tree makes it unique.

We knew this place was good because the line of people waiting to get it. As a party of 2 we were happy to be bumped to the front of the line and snag a bar seat. I love the open kitchen layout where you can watch the food being prepared. I ordered the spicy miso tonkatsu and teriyaki wings. I highly recommend the wings! Never have I had wings that were crispy and saucy and juicy!
