The place is dark and dingy like they are trying to hide something! we had a party of 7 the rice was hard the chicken and beef terrible all dried up! sushi was better! we told the cook the rice was hard his response was don’t eat it!! I complained and instead of getting rice for all seven of us we only got one! 18 percent tip was added automatically on our bill!! I would not had tipped at all ! I will contact my credit card as soon as I get back home!!!

I absolutely love this place! Dante, our server was amazing! Dinner was top notch. It’s a 40-minute drive for us to get out here but well worth it. I ordered the sushi sashimi combo. My wife got vegetable stir fry, my son got chicken katsu and my daughter got chicken katsu ramen. All of it was delicious. Finish things up with some birthday ice cream. We will be back again.

Returned to find their rolls (sake and rainbow) have returned to their previous excellence. Was thrilled. My server (James Anthony) was also great!

They’ve finally reopened and I was extremely happy to return, however it was less than I expected. Although my rainbow roll was pretty and delicious, the tuna appetizer was not as before. Just tuna slices drowning in a sauce that rendered the tuna into nothing you could fully taste to enjoy. Secondly, the vegetable tempura was hugely disappointing. Thick slices and no longer light and airy, but very greasy. You can clearly see the difference in my original picture of it and today’s dish.
I’ll return because I’ve loved this place however and hope they work back to the phenomenon they used to be.

One of the Best Hibachi Experiences Ever!
I eat out often, and this was hands down one of the best hibachi shows I’ve ever seen—honestly even better than what I’ve experienced in California! The chef, Peerless (hopefully I spelled that correctly), was incredible in both skill and showmanship, and our waiter Deonte went above and beyond with his service. Both were fantastic and made the night so much fun!
The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. From start to finish, the service was some of the friendliest I’ve had in a long time. If you’re looking for great food and a great time, this is the place. It’s also a perfect spot to treat your soldier—you won’t be disappointed!

Our waitress was so great. The hostess and the cook we had for the hibachi didn’t really seem to wanna be there. The food was ok… The salad dressing looked lumpy on the soup and salad opening dishes, so I didn’t even try it. The dinner was good but mine was really salty. I had to drown it in white sauce to balance it. The sushi was delicious though, tasted really fresh. Next time I think we’ll just dine in instead of hibachi.

The food is amazing but ive noticed its not as great as it used to be. It was incredibly hot inside and was so bad my baby got heat exhaustion and we couldn’t stay and eat.
[Edit] Came back again to give this place another try since our last experience was awful. The staff are friendly as usual and we had our favorite chef. The rice tasted better than it did last time but the chicken and steak tasted different. The chicken wasnt bad but it wasnt what I was hoping for. The steak didnt have any flavor at all so I had to take it home and season it but overall the food was edible and decent. We got the spider roll and it was fantastic! Now lets talk about the chef! He was absolutely amazing! He was really great interacting with us all. Made us smile and laugh, even my 1yo daughter who was cranky at the time! We went during a non-busy time as soon as they opened so it wasnt too hot inside this time (thankfully!) And we got to enjoy our food without feeling rushed. Bathrooms are super clean and child friendly. There was also new menu items and more picky eater kid friendly options! Will definitely come back again and hope the food tastes a bit better next time.

For a food in Missouri that has Asian food is overall outta of my scale 15 being the greatest I’d say it’s a 13.7 for the simple reason the staff wasn’t as around as you would expect, at least some type of interaction for my taste, now food quality was very fresh and very clean and presentation was overall poise and very artist. The building itself inside and out was overall clean and very beautiful and a different atmosphere then what you would expect from a restaurant in California. I’d recommend you should come and try some udon and the sushi
