I waited over 30 minutes after placing my order and watched four people receive their food before me. When I walked up to the counter to ask about it, the cashier immediately said, “We’re still waiting for it,” before I even got there. How long does it take to prepare fast food? If I had known it would take this long, I never would have ordered.

Update: After 35 minutes, I went back to the counter to ask what the hold-up was. The employee told me they were “working on it,” but then had to ask the cook in the back about my order — which is when I realized they hadn’t even started it yet. I literally watched him drop the shrimp (I ordered the surf and turf) into the fryer at that moment.

When I asked for an ETA for the third time, the cashier seemed annoyed that I was even asking. As an OTR truck driver, I stop at TAs daily, and this was the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I came in for a quick bite mid-load, and instead ended up waiting 45+ minutes for a “fast food” meal. That kind of delay matters when you’re on a schedule — I could’ve been halfway to Ohio by then.

I’m not sure why my order was ignored while multiple customers who ordered after me got their food first, but it was incredibly frustrating.

To make matters worse, when I finally received my lemonade, it was warm and had no ice — as if it had been made when I first ordered and just left sitting there until I complained for the third time.

I will not be coming back.

edit: to make matters worse half my order was missing and everything other than the shrimp was cold. my drink was warm though no ice in my lemonade

One of my top 5 worst restaurants I’ve ever been in.
1- The rudest and most uncaring employees, they all look like they’re dreading every moment of their life.
2- If you order pick up, make sure you notify them when you get there, it doesn’t matter if you ordered 5, 10, or 30 minutes ago, they will watch the receipt on their counter until you show up and tell them to prepare the order. Afterwards, they will tell you they’re out of chicken or (on an order that was placed 30 min ago at 6pm)
3- The most overpriced fried chicken you can find in fast food, but they are so pissy about getting dark or white meat, they will lose their mind if they have to give you 3 thighs and 1 leg in a 4 piece meal.

They switched over to Kiosk ordering only, went to place my order which was 12 hot wings, 1/4 lbs shrimp and was trying to order 1 spicy breast and there wasn’t an option for just 1. Asked manager how to order it and he rudely said you can’t get just 1. This is my normal order that i place everywhere Popeyes I go to. Have ordered it at this one several times with no problem until they went to the Kiosk. Canceled my order and won’t be back to this one. Guess if I want it my way i need to go to BK

The food was great, but it was the slowest ordering process ever. They have two self-service kiosks which are VERY confusing to place an order on. Additionally, someone still has to manually open the order to be able to print a receipt. The dining area was very dirty. There was lots of food waste on the floor from the previous customers and it was hard to get a clean spot.

The first time I came here, I thought the amount of time we waited was a fluke because they were so busy. This time, there were barely any people. We waited an hour the last time and 30 minutes this time. I think extremely slow and unmotivated is their mission statement. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Unless you love wasting your time. If you fancy waiting the time it would take to prepare a well-done steak on mediocre fast food, then this particular Popeyes is right up your alley.

UPDATE: I finally looked at my food and my sandwich, which took 30 minutes to get, looked like it had been ran over by a car. I asked for my money back. We’ll see if I get it.

So on the menu under “offers” within the kiosk I selected the “5 piece meal”… then opted for the “all dark”.. upon completion, I was then informed “were not allowed to give out that much dark meat”.. “it’s our policy”.( I did order 2 orders).. I thought the guy was kidding.. I repeated what he said in a question, he then goes on to say that he doesn’t know why it doesn’t say that in the description .. I replied well, probably because it isn’t a “Popeyes policy”.. he further explains that it’s probably because TA owns this particular store
..

Hey Popeyes.. if it’s on the menu and someone orders it, serve it… it’s really that easy.

For anyone that wants to order here, be sure what you’re ordering “is allowed”…

I’m in America myself I won’t come back to this location.

Ordered 15 mins ahead, came and showed cashier my name. Waited 15 more minutes for them to say I didn’t alert them I was here (which I did?) Had no straws, forgot my lemonade, & under filled it?! Tried giving them a chance but definitely thee worst Popeyes by far. Would rather drive the extra 20 to go to the one in Carmel

The lady that was managing the store this night at this time is unprofessional.
1. Why are you cussing on the front line
2. Rather your closing or not she should
Always be ready for a rush. Like yall not off the highway.
3. How she is speaking of the customers like we not standing here hearing her.
4. I drove all the way here from east Indy due to this location always be fresh and a polite entry.

She has to do better. She may not care cool
But I care how I’m being treated as a customer

For starters, I’m not especially thrilled with the price point of their platter: $20 for 3 pieces of fast food chicken, bland coleslaw, and (admittedly very tasty) beans and rice, biscuit, and drink.
Feels about $5 too high.
The chicken was somewhere between fresh and stale, hot and cold. Mediocre. Didn’t hate it. Didn’t love it.
I think the fact that the beans and rice were by far the most enjoyable part of the meal speaks volumes.
Unfortunately, the Country Pride next door is shut down.
Oh the employees and service were NOT the issue. They were fast, friendly, and running a smooth ship. They did their jobs just fine.
I probably should’ve just stuck with the safer chicken sandwich.

The nice lady, Jackie, in charge at lunch time does an excellent job of having the place functioning as it should. It’s the best of all the Popeyes I travel to at all TA/Petros all over the country.
