Delicious! Consistently yummy espresso! Lately, I’ve been super disappointed with coffee shops not being able to serve even half-way flavorful (sometimes edible) shots. The flavored lattes I’ve had like mochas and pumpkin lattes are not sugary and milk texture is very good!! Most shops, in my experience, over-aerate their milk. It’s a little small inside, so I typically don’t come to study but I do get a coffee basically every time I’m in the Long Beach area!

I’m a foodie, and everything was made fresh and with lots of flavor!
The Vietnamese iced coffee (ViC) was the star of the show, while only 12oz, packs lots of flavor!
I look forward to coming back and getting an ViC to go for the wife
Sorry to not have had taken pictures…

Cyclops Coffee in Long Beach is so much more than a coffee shop. Yes, the drinks are amazing (my partner and I always go for the honey oat latte!!! SO GOOD), but what makes this place special is the atmosphere and the people.

It’s the kind of place where you can sit with your laptop and sort through your life — I’ve done everything from budgeting to reading to just catching up with friends/ family here. You’ll often see people studying or working quietly, and there’s this peaceful, welcoming vibe that makes it feel like a little pocket of calm in the middle of a busy day.

Also, I have to shout out the amazing baristas — especially Dulce and Steven. They’ve become more than just friendly faces behind the counter. They have offered encouragement and support during the toughest moments in my partners cancer journey and to them I am forever grateful! It’s rare to find that kind of genuine care in a coffee shop, and it speaks volumes about the kind of people they are and the kind of shop this is!

If you find yourself in the Long Beach area, give Cyclops a visit! It’s not just coffee — it’s community, comfort, and a little reminder that good people and good drinks can go a long way!

I orginally ordered a drip coffee, and noticed after I got it, that they had a seasonal drink called the Smashing Pumpkin (pumpkin, cardomom, nutmeg, cinnamon) and was bummed. But the barista was so kind she offered to add it to my drink so that I could try it out. I loved the blend of flavors that reminded me of Halloween time. Definitely a smooth drink that I will try again. The second time I came here, I tried the hot Ube cookies and creme latte and I loved it, the ube with cookies and creme was a great hit.

The staff was very friendly, and the barista even remembered my order from when I came here a month ago. That alone deserves high praise.

The shop had a nice chill feel to it as you could study or hangout without distractions. I highly recommend this place.

I am very particular about my espresso drinks. I asked the barista how many grams of grounds they used to pull their double, and how many grams of espresso their double was. And she knew the answer to that question (18/40). Green flag #1. I asked if they had honey. “Yes.” Do you cut it with sugar? “No.” Do you measure by the pump or by the gram? “By the gram.” Green flag #2. When the barista actually knows the details, I can order with a little more confidence. And my drink was delicious. 10/10. Would definitely order there again.

Everytime I come back home I seek out as many coffee shops that I haven’t tried yet and found this spot that just opened not too long ago. What a great find! Will be a go to spot to revisit everytime I’m in town. Big plus for having decaf, which is what my wife only drinks. Awesome merch too!

Back when I was a student at CSULB, I always wished there was a solid coffee spot near campus. I spent a lot of time outside the library looking for somewhere to study, but it was slim pickings on this side of town. Long Beach has plenty of great coffee shops, but most of them close by 4 or 5pm—which isn’t ideal when you’re trying to get in some late study sessions.

Fast forward to now—I recently finished grad school and was on the hunt for a good place to study for my board exam and grab a quality cup of coffee. That’s when I found Cyclops. They’re one of the only shops around that stay open until 9pm, which is already a huge win in my book.

They’ve got all the good stuff: Americanos, lattes, matcha (my usuals), but their rotating specialty drinks keep things fun and fresh. Every now and then I’ll try one out, and they never disappoint.

But honestly, what keeps me coming back is the people. Steven (the owner) and Dulce always greet you with a smile, and they seriously know what they’re doing—just wait until you try one of their drinks. The rest of the team is just as awesome, and the vibe here is always welcoming.

Hands down, my favorite coffee shop in Long Beach.

Great little coffee near my business but very hard to park. Landlord assigned only few spots to each business so not sure how strictly the enforce parking. Inside also very busy do people working from coffee. Outside some nice chairs please put maybe 1 or 2 tables there. Enough space. But so much better then Starbucks for sure. Good Coffee
