We found this place by accident but the food looked so good and the charming host so welcoming, we decided to give it a try. Handsome Gérard was very kind and friendly, hé showed us to a table downstairs for our party of three.
The waiters were helpful and very fun! They guided us through the menu and we loved everything we had. The food was delicious, well presented, and the portions were very large, just the way we like them. Sadly, we had no room for dessert.
There’s so much to choose from in this neighborhood but this gem stands out even on a little side street just down the block from the extremely popular 404. Also, the place felt very gay friendly, which is important to us.
Don’t pass up on Le Chef Thai!

Looked at the reviews and had to get 4 dishes between my wife and I. We weren’t disappointed with the servers and the portions. Even as leftovers it was d-lish. The service was incredible. Definitely worth every penny. Thanks again for this experience.

HUGE portions! Taking my Thai parents who missed thai food for a dinner. Made a reservation so there is no wait time. Very yummy! The service is AMAZING! All the waiters are so friendly and service-minded. Super fast. We sat down at 6:30 and literally finished eating by like 7:15 pm. Reasonable price. Felt very welcoming! Lots of vegetarian options. Highly recommended!!!!

The person at the front is just wonderful. Frankly, he was the best part of this sweet little place.
The portions are huge, and the green curry was good, but not memorable. My tom yum was gritty, with too many small, hard pieces of lemongrass, but the flavours were deep and delicious.
It did get rave reviews and my husband loved his meal, so am happy to go back to give it another shot!

I ordered pad see yew which should have broad noodles and a caramelised flavour from proper charring. What I received was nothing close to that. The portion was fresh and generous but it was simply wok noodles with chicken and vegetables. I told the friendly waitress who said the kitchen does not have space to use the broad noodles usually used for pad see yew??! The issue is not only the noodles but also the recipe and the cooking method. If a restaurant lists pad see yew the customer should be able to expect that dish and nothing less.

INCREDIBLE food, the server Gregor was very sweet and super friendly, honestly it’s so nice to go to such a heartwarming and cozy restaurant with such incredible people when Paris is such a cold city :’) overall an amazing experience. I don’t usually write reviews but this place was that good. Would recommend it as one of the best pad thai I have had, the sticky mango rice was also amazing, great price and the amount of food was very generous.

Very authentic Thai food, friendly service and nice atmosphere. I had the chicken penang curry and it was huge and very tasty! Staff were lovely – busy when I arrived but they found a space for me quickly. Will return when I’m back in Paris to try more – thankyou!

Huge portions and the takeout boxes keep the food very hot and for a long time.
Service was quick and friendly.
Only 4 stars for me though because of the food – i ordered the salmon pad thai which was 3e more than other options but it was not worth it in my opinion, there were just 5 small bits of salmon. And the very hot nature of the meal made it difficule to appreciate fully.
