Fries were crispy and cooked well. Whitefish sandwich overall was good, but I guess I dont like whitefish in a sandwich. Calamari was really good with a delicious and spicy sauce. The BLT was reported to be really good. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food came out quickly, but it wasn’t too busy. Overall the food was good, but maybe a little pricy. The menu seemed a bit limited. I’d eat here again though.

Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The broiled walleye was very fresh, the Philly cheesesteak was nothing wow about it but was good, and the salad was alright too but way too many dried cherries. Also thot the salad could’ve been more green even though it was romaine. There were quite a bit of the rind of the romaine in it. Decor and atmosphere could use some updating.

We stopped in here for dinner and had about a ten minute wait to be seated. We were a little later than usual for dining and we were hungry. The atmosphere was like a family diner. The servers were friendly. Our food was what we expected. We got the Shrimp dinner and the shrimp and baked potato were very tasty. I also ordered a side of onion rings.

If you’re visiting St Ignace, you’ve gotta stop at the Galley! The food is made fresh to order and tastes amazing! We can all recommend their whitefish or walleye served with seasonal veggies ( green beans, sliced carrots, and broccoli sautéed on butter and seasoned deliciously), the whitefish dip, summer salad with grilled chicken, and kids’ meals including the burgers and grilled cheese. The servers are helpful and polite, but most importantly, the Galley is reliable. What I mean here is the fact that their website says they’re open until 10pm on Sundays, and they truly are as one of not that many local restaurants that have false information on their web pages (Buoys By The Bay). We were happy to dine at the Galley twice during our weekend trip to Mackinac Island, and the food and the service were excellent on both occasions. The only thing that needs some improvement is the decor as it is slightly outdated. Still, we recommend the Galley in St,Ignace!

It has some mediocre service. The staff is polite enough, but most of them seem to be from Jamaica? Some southern island’s, and English is not their first language. But the whitefish was lovely, the fries meh. But you MUST try the whitefish livers! They were amazing!!! Absolutely loved them. Worth a stop, just for those.

Would of given this place 5 stars, but my food was a bit cold coming out. I had the fisherman’s breakfast. Fish was great! Now don’t let this stop you from going. The service was great! We were seated with a view of lake Huron! Served very timely, and the portions were great size. I left full!

Feels like a family dinner but the food well surpasses any dinner I’ve been too. Every plate had large portions, and everything was so good. One thing I always judge restaurants on is their coleslaw and theirs was great! I had king crab and it was perfectly cooked. I can also say the kids fish was delicious and much Metter than what I expected for a kids plate. Will definitely return.

There’s really only 3 decent places to eat at this time of the year in St. Ignace…but it was just 2 until we stopped here on a whim. Really good food, reasonably priced, and a full bar. Can’t ask for much more in a sleepy town at the end of tourist season. This will now be a regular stop for us on our annual visit.

Dave our waiter was a 5 star act all by himself. The food was delicious and the real test is when the meal comes fried and you asked for it to be broiled and they can do it. That means they have a great chef and fresh food. They even do chili right. I have nothing negative to say.

Large restaurant right on the lake. They were one of the few nicer places still open at the end of the season. Most other shops and restaurants were already closed. Enjoyed drinks and a nice meal from their varied menu. Desserts available too. Reasonably priced.
