Yet you tease me. I can tell you do not love me back. The hummus and baba dips – where, where I ask, is the accompanying pita? Why, why no pita? (yes we called the next day just to verify the pita was indeed supposed to accompany the dips). We looked longingly at our dips but, alas, had not even a chip nor cracker in our possession. I can’t keep coming back to you when you treat me this way. Mr. Kabob, are you playing tricks on me or are you just consistently careless?
I’ll have to break the news to my friends – the news we’ve all been aware of for oh so long – that in Metro Detroit there are others with delectable bites of fantastic falafel as well. I’m leaving you to meet with another. I will be meeting, one dark evening, with one who treats me right and lavishes me with exactly what I ordered. And my friends, those same ones who looked longingly at our dips with no pita, they’ll be joining me. Farewell my love.
Early afternoon and my gut is rumbling. I guess a granola bar & an orange won’t cover breakfast and lunch.
Ordered a chicken shawarma from the big tablet while talking with the woman behind the counter. She was a hoot. About three minutes later, food in hand & headed to the other counter to chow down.
Great shawarma!
View is nothing to write home about, just 12 Mile & Coolidge. Music was unexpected and a bit loud. An eclectic mix. Kind of descriptive of the whole place really.
I ordered a medium greek salad with chicken breast from Berkley location and there was a very light portion of breast strips for a medium salad. It was fresh and full of huge beet slices, lots of lettuce, tomatoes but not enough chicken for a chicken breast upcharge on a medium salad to share. I expect this successful business to be fair with everyone.
