As good as the food was, our server Adriana was the highlight of our visit. I hardly ever eat restaurant seafood due to the fact that it never tastes fresh… Always tastes rubbery, dry, overcooked or reheated. Mambo’s was a game changer for me. Fish was fluffy and juicy, not overcooked. Shrimp and crawfish tails were also amazing. My uncle who i went with had the chicken burger and was blown away by the size of the massive patty in his burger! I also had a large order of the fried rice to go and that was also really well made! Over all great experience that was put over the top by our great server who was really attentive but not overbearing. Will definitely be coming back for the great food and service!

Mambo Seafood – Medical Center has become one of my favorite spots, especially for their Mas Special Fried Rice. I’ve ordered it many times, and the portions are huge enough for lunch and dinner for two days lol. The flavor is always great and consistently satisfying.
On two occasions my order came out wrong, but I reached out right away and both the employees and the manager responded quickly. They remade the dish without any hesitation, and their professionalism really stood out. The service has been excellent every time, and they’ve never let me down.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great food and great customer service.

The building itself is clean and nicely made. Doesn’t smell like seafood, doesn’t smell dirty. They have an outside play area for kids and they play nice music so that’s why my review for the atmosphere is 3 stars. The server was decent, a little confused on the menu but she was nice. The drinks were good but they probably only have a drop of alcohol in them. The biggest disappointment was the Mambo Rice they charge you $16.99 for. One, it’s advertised like it’s a big bowl that two could share but the plate they bring out is half of that size, probably worth $10. Two, the title gives this idea that it’s some special rice you can only get a Seafood Mambo, but it’s legit pre cooked Asian rice. It tastes like something I get from a Chinese restaurant in a mall and it literally has the scallions and tiny shrimp in it like a fried rice. Oh and a $40 crab boil with dry crab you can’t pull out of the legs. The food was not worth the price and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I ordered dinner tonight and got 2 seafood plates and fries. They were supposed to have 2 pc of fish. 6 shrimp bread and rice. One was missing shrimp. One was missing bread. One had 2 TINY pcs of fish that were the same size as one regular size piece. It came with no tartar sauce on either plate. I tried to get the issue fixed with doordash but they only have me a 5$ credit on a 40$ order that was missing more than half. I even uploaded the photo of the plate minutes after the delivery.

Me and my cousin walk in and were greeted by a young lady. She immediately set us down. It was our first time here and she was very helpful with the menu. We ordered the rice we ordered oysters, bacon-wrapped jalapeno bombers and 20 shrimp to go with the rice. The service was great I couldn’t ask for better the food was amazing. It was very clean in there. The restrooms were clean and kept clean. They have an outside for the children to play. I will be back soon my experience at Mambo what’s amazing.

My mother in law suggested this place. Food was good, but breading to deep fry tasted different than what we are us to in Dallas. The portions were very generous as we had the $9.99 promo specials. Overall would try again. Only issue we had was the waitress to long than usual to come back around.

The food is very small portioned , my rice was so cold it was gross . My fish was under fried when they refried it was so greasy the location on Goliad is the best however , houston mambos are the best in general .
