Texan gal here for business and wanted a little taste of back home so I stumbled upon Agave’s and I am so so glad I did! Shout out to J. Carlos for the wonderful service experience. I ordered the Plato Loco and everything was fresh, well seasoned and delish. Carlos took the time to answer my many questions that I had and even helped me with my to go margarita order; after I had let him know I was staying in a hotel this week, he offered me a cup of ice to go separately, in case my hotel didn’t have ice!

Tons of options here but the “Caldo De Pescado” or fish soup here is so good for a cold fall day. And at 14 bux you cant beat it. I would highly reccomend to keep your vitality up

Friendly server, fast service and the food was good. Their salsa is very good with the chips (add the cheese dip, it is very good). Ordered a chicken Enchilada ala carte and it was a nice portion, took half of it home. This does have a lot of green peppers that could be scaled back by half. Flavor was very good with a lot of sauce and cheese. Next was the seafood burrito. This was very good but do not take leftovers, it is not good reheated. Plenty of parking and seating. Food comes out extremely fast. We didn’t have room for dessert, will try next time.

Was very excited to try another Mexican eatery! I walked in and waited by the host stand for about 10 minutes as I watched wait staff see me but no one acknowledged. One came out to change tv channels and made eye contact and still no one came over. Finally, someone approached and asked if I was waiting for something. I said yes I would like to sit and eat here. He said I thought you were waiting for take out. Either way, I would’ve been waiting for 10 plus mins being ignored. I was finally seated and a pleasant server renewed hope. Food was ok and it came quickly. He gave me some suggestions which was nice. Once I had eaten, it was almost 20 mins before I was able to obtain a check. Waited and waited, stood up and tried to flag someone, had my coat and hat on and card in hand. Finally, the abrupt initial server came to the bar and I asked for a check and a box. He said nothing and made a drink and walked off. Another 4 mins and my server came with check and a box. I quickly signed and left. I had an appt and ended up late being that there was an extra 30 mins spent just standing or sitting and waiting. Will not return. Reviews said staff was pleasant but that is not the experience that I had at all. Sad bc we eat Mexican 1-2 times a week bc we love it and we love to try new places.

The portions are large. We liked it ok, but it didn’t stand out to us as something we need to have again. I had a dragon fruit margarita. It tasted kinda like it came from a can. The salsa was kinda bland, but my husband liked the cheese sauce (even though it looked like poured milk in a salsa dish). The prices are good though. I kept feeling like my dish was missing salt and seasoning.

First time visiting with recommendation from friends plus reviews on Facebook. Came to celebrate daughter’s 21st birthday on a Sunday late afternoon. Crowd was light. Food was good. Portions were good sized. Nothing really stood out above other Mexican restaurants in area, but you won’t be disappointed if you like Mexican. Every one in our group went away full and satisfied.

Everything about this place is a five star in my book. The atmosphere is very nice. Good Latin music food is very good and yummy and each time I’ve came our waitress and our server has been super friendly and the hostess is a very nice gentleman. Pictured is a frozen raspberry margarita rimmed with sugar and 3 Steak St. tacos!!
